Good value hotel if you get the right room. Comfortable beds with good hot water pressure. Fridge and kettle included. Even has water dispenser in the hallway. Would happily stay again.

The furniture and eg is worn out, the cleanliness is also a big issue on the premise, but the room is ok. For 1-2 nights it’s a fine option, close to the centre, cafes, not that loud street.Staff English is poor

Good location. Pro & con: room has 2 aircons and they're effective. Bad thing is one aircon is right above our bed and sometimes the water droplet falls down onto the bed. No lift from the ground floor to the reception is kinda bad but we didn't really care. Standard soft bath & face towels.

The hotel space is beautiful, clean and airy. Beautiful design, strangely luxurious but very cozy (quite chill to take some nice pictures). The hotel is near the center, so it is very close to places to eat and play in the city. Friendly staff, willing to advise customers. Especially the room price is very good and there is a love chair in the room

The room is beautiful and spacious, everything is clean, the night is very quiet, the air conditioner runs smoothly, not disturbing your rest. Enthusiastic and fast service. Friendly and attentive. This is the right place to stay , very convenient near the entertainment areas of hp city , I like this place very much . Hope to come here again next time!

Perfect 👌🏼 👌🏼 👌🏼 it should to be have 4 star for the cleaning room. Lady on the reception is smiling and welcoming. The only inconvenience is the rooster 🐔 on the neighborhood and he's dog who wakeup you sooo earlier despite you are in vacation 🥴🥴

Perfect for a quick stop not very close to anything but all very comfortable and clean

It's 2.5:)) everything inside the room was soooo dusty, especially in a wardrobe. Towels were very stiff! With yellow stains. But bed was perfect. But...water was half warm....it's disaster and not the bath. Staff was great, a girl spoke English very well and was very friendly. Near the elevator there was an ashtray and the sign - NO SMOKING. ok...in our bathroom there were roaches on the window.....

Not the first trip to Haiphong city, but guess that was the most memorable one thanks to Gallant Hotel. Friendly and helpful staffs. Yeah, they were always there whenever I needed. Well, I actually had an incredible experience with the best local snail restaurants in town by the staffs’ recommendation. Seems like it was the highlight of my trip. Lol. A nice, well maintained and clean property. The staff don't speak any English which isn't a criticism as why should they, but they did everything they could to help us. This was perfect for a 1 night stay close to the airport prior to going to Halong Bay.

It's close to the airport. It's good value for money, so it's good to stay for a day or two when you're in a hurry.

I've been here 3 times when on business trips, satisfied every time. Clean and comfortable room, good laundry service. The reception is polite and enthusiastically lends bicycles.

Clean hotel, friendly, and helpful staff. It’s about 2km from the airport which is convenient for early flights. It’s fairly priced for the value of the hotel. We would recommend this hotel and stay again.

The room is quite small and a bit old, but has a big window and a nice view. The TV in the room is not a smart TV The location is ok, we can walk to the airport The staff is very nice.

The hotel is in an excellent location, with convenient transportation and complete surrounding facilities. The room is spacious and bright, elegantly decorated, and the bedding is comfortable and soft, which made me sleep well all night. The service staff is warm and thoughtful, and they can respond to needs quickly, whether it is front desk reception or room service, giving people a homely feeling...

The hotel does not have in house kitchen to provide breakfast and meals, they go to a nearby shop to buy what you had ordered. The rooms are spacious, with cable TV, toilet come with a shower machine which jet stream shower, bath tub and steaming. Generally I would rate it around 3 stars.

Nice looking small hotel in down town with quiet room. The price is high but the bed matrass is too soft! That is not good for tired back after hard working day!

I stayed at Rose Hotel during one night when I arrived from the airport before going to Cat Ba Island the next day. I was trying to book a cheap hotel room, so I wasn't expecting a fancy room. The room had aircon and a fan, which were nice to face the heat of Vietnam. The bed mattress was a bit hard, but I slept fine. The bedsheets had some stains on them. The overall cleanliness of the room was not...

The location is in the town centre and away from the main road, so it is very silent. The room rate is the key reason for me to choose, the service level and tidy is acceptable for this pricing.

The male staff who helped us was very kind to us even though we couldn't speak the same language. The room was reasonably priced, but it was quiet at night and we slept well. It was also good that we could use Wi-Fi comfortably.

Most positive point is very useful location! This hotel is closely from bus line, and easy to go to drink to somewhere! So cost and performance is very great! And following picture's bar was very good. I recommend this place to go to drink somewhere.

Pay attention to the staff at the counter. They have already made the reservation and issued the ticket. When you arrive at the on-site counter, they will say that you have not seen the order and you have to pay once. I persisted for more than 10 seconds. After a few minutes, she said that she had seen the order, but she still had to pay once before she paid. She remained in a stalemate and ignored...

The reviews are too harsh. Sure the hotel is old and a bit run down. The TV and fridge don’t work. But for this price point I can’t complain about anything. For $14 a night you get a queen bed, hot shower, AC and a security guard for your motorbike downstairs. That’s more than a bargain.

They lady working here really is stingy. She will try to charge you for any little thing. The male worker at night is very good though. Keep in mind that I've probably stayed in 50 hotels in Vietnam and this is the only one that overcharged me over trivial things. It's not a big deal because it's only a dollar but I definitely won't be returning.

Cheap alternative for a night or two. Very friendly reception and helpful two. As its a budget property the place is a little run down. decent size room and bath room but needs a patch up in the place and a proper cleaning job. As the city is not really know for tourists or expats don't seem to bother much but i would say ok enough to spend a night or 2 but nothing longer than that.

hotel is quite clean, service is good .....food is normal serving.

The room is clean and the sheet were changed daily. Breakfast are mostly Japanese food and they are ok. The view from the breakfast area is very nice
