Tea Leaf Hotel in Dalat

It scared me when I read the negative reviews for this hotel before booking and made me do a site check. Apparently, the reviews came from the previous operator. After taken over this premise, the landlords did renovations and improved services. That’s why it caught my eyes when I walked by.
Located in the center, it’s quite convenient to walk to nigh market, Xuan Huong lake and find good places to eat. I found myself stuffed every day :)) The room is spacious, neat and clean, exactly what I see in the photos. Price is affordable. Staff are nice and supportive, especially the lady at the reception. I felt a warm welcome when I walked through the living/waiting room. Highly recommended.

It's good value for money. Nice shower, spacious room (#102), albeit with no window. Noisy as hell because the hotel caters not only to foreigners. But get this: real bathroom towels, not the paper thin rags you'd normally find in hotels of this standard.

The room was really spacey, clean, and comfortable. This was the best hotel during our entire trips in Vietnam. What was really important for us, the bathroom was very convenient, spacey, and CLEAN!! The staffs were really nice, helpful, and polite. The laundry service was reasonably-priced, and they were received and delivered on time! The room was really spacey, once again, it's a gem to find a room like that for a cheap price in Vietnam. Oh, a SmartTV, too!

Some things to be aware of, but it didn't really bother us:
There is no AC anywhere in Dalat, no matter where you book, Dalat hotels DON'T have AC. They may have a circulation AC throughout the entire hotel, but there isn't an individual unit for each room. It wasn't a problem for us, the fan was good enough with the really cool weather temperature at Dalat. No humidity compared to anywhere else in the country. However, since there's no AC, there's a small window leading into the hallway for circulation. It was too high for us to adjust, so we couldn't close it when the guests on the same floor were being very noisy (early mornings, late at night).

Overall, a 5-star review happy customer! I would definitely come back here next time I visit Dalat, and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
