An Absolutely Wonderful Stay - Highly Recommend!
We just got back from a fantastic stay at Rafaelo Resort and I couldn't be happier with our experience.
The great service started even before we arrived. I made our reservation through their Facebook page and the team was incredibly quick to respond. Their answers were always clear and very helpful, which made the booking process so smooth.
We showed up a bit early before official check-in time, but they were so accommodating. I had booked two rooms and they managed to get one ready for us right away so we could settle in before the checkin time, which we really appreciated.
I had mentioned during booking that I needed a room with stable WiFi for work, and they definitely delivered. The internet was really good and fast and I had no issues at working a few hours from my room.
The room itself was clean, spacious, and had a lovely balcony with a nice view. It was quiet and perfect for our family. A special shout-out to Martina, the cleaning lady, who was super helpful and kind. She checked in with us every day to see if we needed fresh towels or anything else, and her warmth was really lovely.
All the staff we encountered were consistently friendly, helpful, and kind. The food was also really nice and always served on time.
For the level of service and quality we received, we found it to be very affordable, especially with the end-of-season sale. It felt like great value.
We will definitely be coming back with the family. Highly recommend this place!
Just one small note for the management: the curtain rod in our rooms was very loose and unstable; it tended to fall if you opened the curtains widely. It didn't cause any problems for us, but it might be something to fix soon just as a safety precaution, especially for kids.
But overall, a truly excellent stay. Thank you, Team Rafaelo

Not as good as the photos on internet are.
Bed was comfortable, bathroom strange, staff confused. Breakfast was good, dinner horrible and expensive. Food was really, really bad.
No menu in English or any other language.
Wine list non existent. That had to go and check for every single bottle we asked for.
Nature around is beautiful, view from rooms fantastic.
Will not go again. Sorry but not sorry.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Overpriced and deeply disappointing – avoid this place!
We stayed at this hotel in September, and honestly, it was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had.
The receptionist was incredibly rude and insisted on keeping my passport during the stay — something I’ve never encountered before. She looked at us like we were a burden to the hotel, which really ruined the first impression, especially considering how much we paid.
We had to pay the entire amount upfront, again something I’ve never experienced. For what we got, it was absolutely not worth it.
The room:
• The bed was way too soft — impossible to sleep well.
• Only one thin sheet provided, no extra blanket.
• Shower barely worked and was full of limescale.
• Bathroom smelled like sewer.
• Only shampoo provided — no other toiletries.
• No bathrobes, even though this is supposed to be a spa hotel.
The “spa”:
Total joke. The jacuzzi, hammam, and sauna were all closed or broken. When we arrived, we had to ask the receptionist to turn on the lights because everything was dark and clearly unused. No massages available, even though they promised there would be.
The breakfast:
Terrible. Poor quality and very limited selection. Definitely not what you expect from a “5-star” hotel.
And to top it all off, they only charged our card 3–4 months after the stay. Who does that? Completely unacceptable.
We’ve stayed in many spa hotels across the Balkans and Western Europe — this one takes the cake for being the worst. Definitely not 5 stars. More like 2.5, maybe 3 on a generous day.
Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place is overpriced, mismanaged, and a total diapppontment.

The room was fine and the view was great i have to admit, though the way the staff treat you is beyond HORRIBLE. I would not recommend coming here at all! We payed for what we thought was all inclusive and then when we came to eat lunch after getting a portion of somewhat eatable food one lady approached my mother with a very loud voice asking her where her wristband was and shouting at her to get out, treating her like a thief until my father had to go and sort it out the lady in front of everybody was questioning us like we were at the police station everybody kept on staring at us and this lady shouting at us like she owned the hotel until my father had to sort it out and pay extra for lunch! It completely ruined the rest of our day as people kept on staring at us, do not come here, theres plenty of other hotels with the same or might i say better experience than this one, definitely when it comes to the staff part.

the room was terrible. it was old, furniture was old and the walls for some reason were stained. overall i was uncomfortable in that room and the bathroom was dim, yellow and it smelled a little. the room was terrible but the beds were comfortable and the balcony view was gorgeous. the service from the staff was incredible. they were so helpful and they were always ready to give us anything we needed. the food and drinks were really good and we had a lot of options to choose from.

Where do I start… I booked this place a week before, but when I arrived, they couldn’t even find my reservation. They sent us to check a room, and it was disgusting, the sink was broken, the room was a mess. When I went back to tell them about it, they acted like I was lying and were really rude.
We took another room that was a bit better, but still far from what you’d expect. They call themselves a 4-star hotel, but there was nothing 4-star about it. The food wasn’t good, and I even got food poisoning. I didn’t bother telling them — I just wanted to leave.
The cleaning rules are ridiculous: towels only every two days, and a room clean EVERY THREE days. Even then, they didn’t do it properly. We had to call the cleaning lady ourselves. When they “cleaned” the bathroom, they only mopped the floor and didn’t touch anything else. The toilet barely had water, so sometimes it wouldn’t flush. The shower never had fully hot water.
There was a safe in the room, but they said it didn’t even work. The TV was smaller than my laptop screen. The fridge made loud noises all night, so I couldn’t sleep.
Overall, this place was a huge disappointment. Definitely not worth the money and nothing like what they claim. The only decent thing was the location and the beach lounges.

We stayed at this hotel for one night just to see if Albania is ready for European tourists. To start with, I think someone should tell this hotel what an all-inclusive is. In the evening we stood in line in the restaurant for half an hour for nothing because all the food was already gone and no one came to fill them up and for the drinks if we can call them a drink isn't much of one either. The swimming pools were very dirty, there was a shortage of staff everywhere and there was no television, despite all attempts to watch television. Many street dogs in the streets, unpleasant smell along the street on the coastline...

This is not 5 star resort. I stayed at deluxe&spa EU180 a night and it was absolutely not worth it. A none working TV in room and see through bathroom. I also stayed in executive side of hotel which means I payed extra but absolutely not worth the price. Again no TV and no privacy in bathroom. No room to sit by the pool. Food is terrible, hotdogs and a day old bread. The staff is none responsive. This is expansive 3 star at best.

To all the ratings here, keep in mind that Rafaelo is divided in 3 parts. Rafaelo normal with the sections A to H. Next Rafaelo Executive (Maritim) with higher standards and exclusive Pool usage. Last Rafaelo Deluxe with highest standards and SPA etc. (Executive can use SPA too). We where in the Executive Hotel and everything was fine.

The worst experience in my life. There are 3 pools and only one gets filtered as it supposed to. Therese are not cleaned at all.
For 5 star hotel food is horrible, eveyday you had spaghetti with some horrible beef and chicken meat, that was it.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
