Aragosta Shengjin in Shengjin

We had a lovely stay! The service was incredible. Everyone was generous, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced! The risotto with shrimp and vegetables was fantastic. The rice was perfectly al dente and the shrimp and zucchini were an awesome and creative combination to have in it.

We stopped here for dinner on our journey through Albania to Greece and must say the Spaghetti carbonara we had was superb and good value. The service from the friendly young waiter that served us, who fortunately spoke English really well, was excellent. Thank you for a lovely meal, Miles & Mandy.

My cousin and I had a wonderful dinner here yesterday. We just popped in for dinner. We didn't stay in the hotel as we are in a camper van. I had the chicken (pule me Pana) and my cousin had the chicken risotto which was not an option but the chef was very flexible and said it could be done. The chicken was TENDER which is rare because to cook chicken, you have to cook it just right ( not too much and not too little ) . The creamy sauce was even nicer. I had a little taste of my cousins risotto and that was beautiful. It wasn't overly creamy and the rice was cooked to perfection. The chef is a real genius. Close by, there's a famous restaurant called mrizi I zanave, it's world famous but it couldn't compare to the dishes we had here. I don't know how this can happen. Mrizi I zanave is very average in their food. Here in restaurant Aragosta, the chef is far more skilled in the kitchen than anyone in mrizi I zanave . There's plenty of parking and has a lovely garden area seating. The waiters are exceedingly polite, kind and charming. This is the third or fourth time in Albania that I've come across a master chef. I would give this place a 10/10 and it's rare I ever go over 7 or 7.5.

The room was huge and clean but basic - it's ok, you dont look for more than travel. But the food... the food was amazing ??don't even hesitate and go ahead for the home wine and the seafood ??

One of my most preferred places in Albania: family run, clean, quiet, safe, generous owner. And fresh, authentic food from the nearby sea. A good place for campers and travellers, too.

The room was clean with everything you need. The family was VERY nice and allowed extra wishes. It is very cheap, so if you want to save money and get a clean bed with bathroom, this is the place to be.

Good place with great atmosphere. The location is approx. 3km from other city centers. The car comes in this country very handy. The place is generous, solid looking, family run. Even though our arrival was delayed cause problems on border crossing, they gave us another room and let us sleep to the morning. From then on everything was ok. Speaking off languages, Italian is preferred, English is could be problematic, but their granddaughter knew it very well. The breakfast was very good and always fresh, not to mention the dinner. Best seafood i've ever had, loved it. The another good thing was that it was obvious that many people were stopping there all the time, not just tourists but also local people which is pleasantly different than staying in some in resort. Definitely not our last visit. ?
