Hotel Nimfa in Vlore

Charged €2 for parking, where there is no parking fees displayed, previously free and IN SEPTEMBER. Poor quality bed loungers at €15 per set, arrived in the afternoon and even out of season. Then I was unable to drive out of the place as boxed in by other cars. The rude parking attendant (a prison doctor, aparently) that demanded the parking fee was now nowhere to be seen to help. Went to the bar for help - nobody there. Went to the restaurant (empty, two waiters, sat down glued to the Facebook, who didnt bother even acknowledging my existence) - told to "head to reception" - nobody at reception either. An absolute joke! Its a shame as I used to come to this place very often with my family I but will not do so from now on. If you're heading here (and can't go anywhere else when there is plenty) ask for the receipts so that they pay their taxes, double check the amounts they charge you, etc. A nice place physically with an abysmal service.

- This place could be amazing due to literally being built on the beachfront but unfortunately missed on all of my expectations. I stayed 3 nights with my partner in August.

- Staff are very unprofessional which makes the stay extremely unbearable.

- The girl at reception kept pulling weird faces every time me or my partner would ask for something normal such as extra toiletries for the room.

- The restaurant staff were even worse - when me and my partner would head up for breakfast or the occasional dinner, all the creepy young men would keep their gaze low and would nonchalantly serve us. When she would head up by herself and ask for something such as water or a menu to take back to the room (she is not a native Albanian like myself so would try to communicate in english) they would make perverted advances to her and brush her off.

- The beach is very pretty however it is not private. Takes away from it all when hotel guests are paying 100+ euros a night to stay here but any outsider can drive here, block your car in for hours on end and pay only 10-15 euros to use the sun lounger to sit right next to you.

- It is worth a visit ONLY if you stay for a couple of hours / pay to use the sun loungers as an external guest.

The location is convenient and the beach is beautiful. However, the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the rooms is absolutely terrible. Breakfast is good (if you arrive by 9:30 a.m., otherwise it's all gone), but the dinner dishes aren't as good. The staff is inexperienced and unfortunately provides poor service.

Hello, Yesterday I was at the beach with two of my friends, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The person in charge of collecting the payment for the umbrellas was very rude and seemed irritated the entire time. His attitude made us feel unwelcome as customers, and because of that, I wouldn’t come back again. It would be good to have staff who are more polite and professional, as otherwise you risk losing many clients who come to enjoy a peaceful day at the beach. Thank you for understanding.

Terrible experience. We booked a week and because of the problems related to the international 'bug' we had to reschedule our holiday a few weeks later. However, the hotel declined this request and decided to keep all our money. Let this be a lesson to whomever decide to book with these people.
