Good:
- It is a new hotel, our room was spotless clean, and had everything needed.
- The location is great, in the city centre, close to the Metro, and usefull Trolleybus #1.
Not so good:
Many things were "almost" good, but not really at the end:
- we got the room #1, right in front of the entrance. Great room but the issue is that nobody (clients, or staff) cared about their noise, and we therefore felt like the reception was in our own room... which seriously lowered our comfort at night. The door also allows for the light to go through
- things can get a bit crowded and slow at breakfast time if other clients are all here at the same time, which could easily be arranged by simply investing in a coffee machine...
- we also believe that asking money for a tea to clients staying several days is really not smart... how much can 2 tea bags cost...
The hotel can also arrange day trips and small excursions, which we did not try. We really wanted to see the Tatev Monastery, which was supposed to be rainy most of our stay duration except 1 day, and therefore decided to go with the hotel organization instead or another travel agency. They sadly realized at midnight the day before that the cable car was not running on Mondays (which we knew) and that their vehicle would not be suitable for the road... We were woken up during the night and had to cancel, without time to contact the other agency...
