The best thing about this restaurant are service and the food. The cozy of the Japanese inspired ambiance makes your feel you are in Japan. And I say service because their staff really makes you feel very comfortable with big smile in their faces. And the food "yummy!", I cant wait to come Back.

Amazing Food!! Booked 6 months in advance for a celebratory dinner and it was absolutely worth it, very special place to dine. The service was impeccable with extremely polite and friendly staff who knew more than you could even imagine about the food and wine. Defiantly a must visit!

Justin, Patrick and Buster are very welcoming staff which you don’t find everywhere! They greet you no matter what time of the day with friendly smiles - incredibly hospitable! They gave us a tour of the ‘strong room’ and shared the history of the building. Beautiful architecture! The hotel rooms are always immaculate, comfortable and value for money. The roof top bar and pool are always lots of fun too! Highly recommend this hotel if visiting Sydney.

Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, the Primus hotel has over 100 years worth of stories. This iconic hotel has seen the growth of the city over the course of time while serve as a important memory in many people’s heart. The hotel follows many of the protocols and keep up with the status quo. It has all the facilities a 5 star hotel must have. My friend and I have stayed with them for over a week, my friend, who is also a returning customer, has their membership card which unlocks many perks.

The hotel exterior definitely got a rustic look to it with interiors that has already undergone many modifications. The common lobby, the restaurants, the elevator, corridor and overall ambiance of the room send us back to a decade back. The black coloured wooden work definitely adds a classic feel to the room.

Here are some observations;
- the lift is a bit slow. Wish it could be faster
- the room wardrobes and all cub boards that are able to open lacks sort of door knobs or grip. It’s so annoying to open it by pinching/gripping the wood
- the toilet can be fitted with even more modern facilities
- the touch control light switches are definitely great
- the air conditioning is well maintained and super effective
- the cleaning service is top notch and love the staff
- the hotel lacks proper signs outside
- the construction next door makes the hotel hard to notice from the street. First time I went to the back alley way and then walked back to reach the entrance. Google maps to blame
- the pool is a bit small and there are no longer privacy, I don’t mind, as there are large skyscrapers surrounding the 7 floored hotel building; still fun to have a nice pool time
- the staff were super friendly and courteous
- and to my surprise, the food menu is affordable and not at all overpriced
- room service doesn’t come with any extra charges
- late night room service menu can be improved by adding more items

Lovely standard of hotel and the heritage feel of the building meeting contemporary. Nicely appointed rooms and nice bedding made for a great nights rest. Rooftop is a great addition and we have used for birthday gatherings before (great in summer). Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

The hotel looks more grand than what the photos show. The room are specious, clean and new. There are a lot of bench space which is really useful. The room has all the basic amenities you need. The bed is really comfy with premium linen and choices of pillows. The hotel gave us a nice treat for our trip. The bathroom is modern and clean. The location is excellent, all the key tourist places are within a walkable distance. Highly recommended.
