Hyatt Regency Sydney, Sydney1 / 30
8.6
Sydney, 161 Sussex Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Located in Darling Harbour with a great sea view, this hotel is super convenient, just a short walk to the CBD. However, the steak at the restaurant was just okay.
harbour view is so beautiful and looftop bar was so great and restaurant was so great
We loved our stay at Hyatt Regency. The location is very convenient and walkable, especially when traveling with kids. We were able to easily walk to Barangaroo, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, and WILD LIFE Zoo, which made our trip very relaxed and enjoyable. The room is on the smaller side but comfortable, clean, and felt very safe and secure for our family. It’s also close to shopping areas and nearby...
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Darling Harbour. The rooftop bar offers great views. Breakfast was just okay, mostly Western options. The room was a bit small. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Revisiting after 15 years, I stayed at this hotel before. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. A special shout-out to the Indian gentleman at the front desk who helped me switch to a 14th-floor sea-view room – I was absolutely thrilled! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. I just love Sydney; it was a very enjoyable Christmas trip.
The facilities, decor, and location are all excellent. The back exit leads directly to Darling Harbour, and the hotel bar offers beautiful views. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic. The only minor drawback was that the cleaning was a bit careless; there was still an eyelid tape left by the previous guest on the bathroom wall.

Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay, Sydney1 / 30

Sydney, 30 Pitt St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; you can walk to all areas of the city. Circular Quay is just a 5-minute walk, and you can easily stroll to the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Plus, you can even see the bridge from your hotel room, which is fantastic!
Very friendly staff with speedy services to provide Generous and thoughtfulness for customers especially with check in process, appreciated
Extremely satisfied, their professionalism truly deserves praise. I booked rooms overlooking both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. From the rooms we were assigned, the Opera House view had a better layout and angle. My photography skills aren't great, so the view was even more impressive in person. The service was very warm; they knew it was Chinese New Year and even gave us some candies.
The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Circular Quay and the pedestrian street. However, the room facilities, especially the bathroom, are a bit outdated, and the breakfast selection is limited.
The breakfast was decent, pretty standard. The room wasn't very big, just okay, but it was quite clean. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. Its good location is definitely a plus.
Let's start with the positives: - Location is perfect, 5min away from Circular Quay, 10min walk from the shopping area of Pitt street. Right in the city center. - Staff is nice, giving small gift to our kid. Breakfast is also quite good. - We were able to do an early check-in at 10am without surcharge, which was very nice after an overnight flight. Now for the negatives: - Room is small and basic...

Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park, Sydney1 / 30
9.1
Sydney, 161 Elizabeth St (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The rooms are as spacious as ever, and there's a very friendly Chinese-speaking guy at the front desk. Although it's an older five-star hotel, the rooms have been wonderfully renovated and are very comfortable and roomy!
The room was quite nice, considered high-end for Sydney. The breakfast was very exquisite, and the pour-over coffee was exceptionally good. Sitting by the window having breakfast, you get a perfect view of Hyde Park. There was a gentleman at the check-in desk who spoke Mandarin and was particularly helpful. They accepted cash as a deposit, which was convenient. The location is also excellent, making...
The location is excellent, right across the street from Hyde Park. It's about a 2km walk to the Capitol Theatre, and next to Westfield and various other malls, with Chinatown only one or two kilometers away. The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. When checking in, a deposit was required. Based on comments, it was usually $100 per night if paying cash, but the front desk charged me $300...
The room and bathroom are quite spacious. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station. It has both a front and back entrance; the back entrance is closer to Queen Victoria Building, and the front entrance is closer to Hyde Park. The breakfast selection is also quite varied, surprisingly even offering freshly cooked noodles!
The environment is clean and the service is attentive. A special shout-out to the gentleman at the front desk who spoke Chinese; he was very patient in helping us with our issues. Thumbs up! My only minor gripe is that the breakfast was exactly the same for four days straight; it would be nice to have some variety. However, this small flaw doesn't affect my five-star rating for the hotel. The location...
Perfect location! Breakfast hours are generous, and the variety is quite good. The hot noodle soup was a big plus! 👍 The staff are all very friendly. The room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable.

Location: Excellent! It's near Circular Quay, so you can easily get anywhere in Sydney by ferry or bus. However, the walk back to the hotel is an 'agony hill' – it's incredibly steep! Service: There was one Asian-looking female receptionist who was quite mean, but everyone else was very welcoming and enthusiastic. Environment & Hygiene: As an established hotel, the hygiene and environment are very...
Sydney truly is the Chongqing of Australia, so many hills! I was absolutely breathless walking up to this hotel 😮💨. The room was a bit dated, but it was fine – you could call it 'old money' style. The bar view was absolutely spectacular! However, the food was really not good.
Even though it was renovated in 2006, the facilities and service are excellent. I had a very satisfying stay. The executive lounge and room views are absolutely stunning. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.
Just a five-minute walk from Circular Quay, and about 20 minutes by train to the airport. However, there's quite a steep slope leading up to the hotel from the pier, which is a bit inconvenient. The Opera House view room offers great value for money.
The rooms are a bit old but very well-maintained. The Executive Room offers excellent views of both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Many hotel staff can speak some Chinese, and the breakfast is decent. The hotel is located up a steep hill, which can be a bit challenging if you're carrying luggage. Of course, the main reason to choose this hotel is for the views; otherwise, hotels near QVB are...
The hotel is located on a steep slope, making the walk to it a bit challenging. However, it's very close to the station and also conveniently located near the sightseeing bus pick-up point. The room was decent and met expectations for the price. The hotel staff were quite polite.

As a long-standing five-star hotel, my overall stay was excellent! The view from the Deluxe Full Harbour Room was absolutely stunning, offering clear sights of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House! Perfect for enjoying both the night view and the sunrise!
This hotel offers an exceptionally comfortable sleep experience! What's fantastic is that the room is free from any allergenic odors and light that could disturb sleep. The bedding is comfortable, and the temperature is just right for a good night's rest. In terms of sleep quality, it's among the top hotels I've stayed at, even compared to many ultra-luxury 5-star properties. The room type is very...
The views are amazing and the location is great. The service was also excellent. The only minor downside is that the room was a bit small, but everything else was perfect.
Although the hotel is historic, it's very well-maintained! The restaurant downstairs is fantastic, and there's a particularly kind Chinese waitress there. The location is excellent! Every evening, staff deliver water and ice, making for a very comfortable stay!
The location is excellent, and the renovated environment is very nice and clean. The window offers a view of the opera house, and the lobby is grand. However, the service is just average, to be frank. I particularly felt a hint of ******; they practically bend over backward for Western guests, but for Asians, it's just so-so. It's not that they actively make things difficult, but the difference in...
The facilities are great: the elevators are fast, and the room layout is well-designed, compact but efficient. However, the bed was too soft, causing me back pain. The environment is convenient, with views of the opera house. The service is top-notch, from the front desk to the doormen. They even have an evening ritual, all showcasing Four Seasons' professionalism.

Booked a twin room with a colleague and emphasized it during check-in, but we were given a king-sized bed. The housekeeper promptly and quickly resolved the issue for us.
The room was clean and tidy, though the twin beds we booked were a bit small. The hotel is right in the city center, so you can pretty much walk everywhere for dining and shopping. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Sydney.
The location is unbeatable. The light rail is right outside the door, and the QVB is just across the street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. However, the rooms are genuinely tiny. We booked connecting rooms for two adults and two children, and once our large suitcases were open, it was difficult to even walk around.
I booked connecting rooms for four nights, originally one king and one twin, but they gave me two king rooms, saying they had no other availability for the weekend. I just asked for an extra blanket since the duvet was a bit thick and I got a little warm sleeping. The location is very convenient, right across from QVB. The soundproofing in the room was a bit poor. I didn't order breakfast, but everything...

My stay at the Hilton Sydney was very satisfying. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient transport links. The room was clean and comfortable, well-equipped, and the staff were incredibly warm and professional. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the overall ambiance was upscale and comfortable. It's a great choice for anyone visiting Sydney, whether for leisure or business.

Excellent facilities and great location! Literally a few mins walk to ferry, train so so handy for families with baby.
The room was great, service was warm, and breakfast was good. However, the duvet in the room was a bit thin, and it got cold on rainy days.
Prime Location: Steps from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Circular Quay ferries, the Sydney Opera House, and The Rocks. Reasonable price during golden week last min booking.
Very comfortable room. Good breakfast offerings. Central location near lots of amenities.
The room was clean, with a beautiful view of Sydney Harbour right outside the window. The hotel lobby was very unique, and the breakfast was quite substantial. The hotel is very close to Sydney Harbour, so you can take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront first thing in the morning.

The location is fantastic, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I especially loved the rooftop pool with its beautiful views. It's perfect for families, with spacious rooms and really comfortable mattresses. Plus, there are tons of great food options nearby.
1: The swimming pool is small and the water isn't clean. 2: The pajamas are definitely not up to five-star hotel standards. 3: Couldn't get a late checkout; had to leave by 11 AM. I saw online reviews saying this place was a 'landmine' but I didn't believe it.
Here's my personal take. Upon entering the lobby, the bellhops barely glanced my way, instead warmly greeting foreign guests. Heading upstairs for check-in, even with open desks, I still had a bit of a wait. My son and I were speaking Chinese the whole time. The front desk lady, however, spoke exclusively English to my son, and her attitude was decent. After check-in, she surprised me by speaking a...

Plus: offered free upgrade from two bed harbour view room to two bedroom room, but was assigned lower floor Negatives: Apartment was spacious, but not sure why there are quite a few gnats flying inside the shower space. ventilation was quite poor too. And room services took ages to come, one time i had to call back after 30 min cause no one came, probably forgot to cater my request earlier

This hotel was quite a good value during the National Day holiday, especially since places like the Four Seasons, which we originally wanted to book, were astronomically expensive. I booked for my bf birthday. The hotel was very clean and excellent service. I like the fitness area that enjoyed sauna every day during stay. Definitely I will be back.
The room was great, and being in a shopping district meant super convenient shopping. The service was excellent too. Definitely a good review! The hotel service was excellent, very warm and welcoming, with a fantastic attitude. The hygiene was top-notch, and the location was super convenient for getting around. There's even a supermarket downstairs, which was great for buying things. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.

Many popular attractions are within walking distance. Plus, there's a Coles supermarket and lots of trendy restaurants right downstairs. Highly recommend! 👍
Location is great 👍 And the rooms are good. But cleaning is a joke! They do not clean not even close to everyday and if they happen to ”clean” then its not cleaning and instead something else. Apart from that the hotel is great.

Great place in a strategic location near QVB and other iconic spots in Sydney CBD. The area is lively and convenient, with the hotel situated just above a Westfield shopping centre. The amenities and services were excellent—any requests, like extra pillows and towels, were handled promptly. It also features a swimming pool, which is a great bonus to enjoy during your stay
The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of Sydney's CBD, making transportation very convenient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Service is just okay, and it offers decent value for money. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport, costing around $35.
Loved everything- but the lift was quite inconvenient- would check if this is fixed before booking again. Pool and spa was the best parts
The location is very convenient, and the service was good, but the room was definitely old and damp with a musty smell. The elevator was also out of order for all three days of our stay, so we had to use the staff elevator every time.
Located in a bustling downtown area, the ground floor entrance is always busy, and check-in is on the 8th floor. The hotel is a bit older, and the facilities show their age, but the quality is still good, especially the powerful shower. This place was really comfortable to stay in, the service is great and most definitely the location where its surrounded by restaurant and also next to the train :)
Good rooms, functional with Cooktown micro kettle and toasters plus fridge amd kitchen sink ! Comfortable bed, reasonable shower, helpful staff abd management who assisted to overcome a booking error on my part. Will stay again. If working in area. Convenient to woolies, coles and farmers markets. Suitable for linger stays as well as shorter ones ... plenty of local eat out options if desired.
