Hi I am Henry J i would like to share a wonderful first stay with truly warm hospitality

This was my first time staying at Fraser Suites, and the experience left a very strong and positive impression on me.

From the moment I arrived, the Manager, Fera, and his colleagues provided a genuinely warm and welcoming experience. The check-in process was smooth, friendly, and professional, making me feel comfortable and well taken care of right away.

What truly stood out was the attitude of the staff. Everyone was smiling, cheerful, and approachable, whether it was the housekeeping team or the night shift staff. Even late at night, the atmosphere felt friendly, calm, and safe, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, reflecting the high standards of the property. Overall, this was a memorable first stay, made special by the kindness and professionalism of the entire team.

Thank you to the manager, Fera, and all staff members for such a lovely experience. I would definitely return and highly recommend Fraser Suites to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and genuine hospitality.

My wife and I stayed at Fraser Suites in early Feb 2026. Overall we had an excellent 7 night's stay! The location of Fraser Suites on Kent is absolutely fabulous! Especially with the Regent Place shopping arcade right next door which not only offers a variety of eateries, but also functions as a handy shortcut to cut across to George Street. The location really can't be beat.

Our one-bedroom suite was excellent in terms of comfort, size, and amenities. Though the place is not new, everything worked well and looked decent. Excellent water pressure. Well equipped.

My greatest area of concern, as per a lot of other reviewers, is that the housekeeping needs to be more consistent. It is for this reason that I cannot give Fraser's a full 5 star rating.

The place was not visibly dirty. But it was obvious that the housekeepers only do a cursory cleaning. I noticed a lot of dust on the upper part of the curtains in the bedroom. And i mean a LOT, so much so that I had to REQUEST to have it cleaned. This clearly indicates to me that the housekeepers are not thorough. There was also a day that they effectively forgot to make the bed! They sort of roughly arranged the pillows, but it was obviously not made. Bathroom was clean... on the surface. But I know it was not properly cleaned, because I actually saw how the housekeepers cleaned it. They just wiped the floor with the towels, rearranged stuff, and called it done. I don't know when of if ever the bathrooms are properly cleaned and mopped. I'm not even sure how thorough the rooms are vacuumed!

Moving forward, I hope the management can pay closer attention to the cleaning provider. At the very least, please ensure each unit is thoroughly deep cleaned BEFORE check in. Visually neat does not mean clean.

As for the kitchenette, I can say it was thoughtfully equipped. If I may suggest, please include better quality spatulas. It would also be great to include some basic seasonings (salt and pepper) and some cooking spray or small butters in the fridge. Small packs of foil/cling wrap would be nice too. It would also be nice if a simple air fryer could be included. Lastly, the issue of housekeeping also crops up again - we had to wash all the plates and utensils prior to use because they looked like they were not properly washed.

But when all is said and done, I'd say Fraser is a great place to stay and it will be my choice of accommodation the next time i go to Sydney. I just hope by then the housekeeping issues will be ironed out.

I stayed Fraser suite Sydney from 23/1/26~28/1/26 this year. When I checked in, Fera responded with big smile. She was highly knowledgeable in Sydney. She introduced me China town night market, Korea town, Japan town, and firework in Darling harbour. Fera was so kind to me. I'd like to praise her sincere attitude to customer. Thanks to her, I could travel Sydney very very well! Stay in Fraser Suite was the best experience for me. Gym and pool were nice and cleaning service was great!

The location is good, 10 minutes walking distance to darling harbor and China Town. Breakfast is ok with good service. I like the Spa pool, very warm.
Just the parking is $52 per night which is expensive for the guest.

Exceptional stay from start to finish

I had a fantastic stay at the Fraser suites and couldn’t fault a thing. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of service that makes you feel looked after without being overbearing.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean, with an incredibly comfortable bed and thoughtful touches throughout. Everything felt calm, luxurious, and well-maintained. The facilities were equally impressive, especially the pool and fitness areas, which were spotless and relaxing.

The location is also a huge plus — convenient for getting around while still feeling like a peaceful retreat from the city. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and high-quality options.

Overall, the hotel delivers true five-star comfort with outstanding service. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined, relaxing, and seamless hotel experience.

Room was as expected. We booked this primarily for the in-room washer and dryer as we were stying for a week and don’t want to bring a lot of dirty clothes back home. Check-in and out were a breeze. Rated low on cleanliness bec. upon arrival, our room had a leftover KFC box on the top shelf of the cabinet by the living area.

The hotel was very dirty. The towels had other people's hair on them. I asked for a replacement, and that one also had hair... There was also hair in the shower drain, and the inside of the fridge was dirty.

Disappointing, go elsewhere. Over rated, over priced. Had the degustation menu, every dish was packed with salt and sugar, trying too hard to pack in trendy French/Asian fusion flavours and drowning out any natural ingredient flavours. My mouth tasted of salt the next day. It took too long to get through the courses, 3.5 hours. The atmosphere was stuffy and overly formal. There are so many other and better Sydney restaurants to choose from conjuring up fresh seafood, tasty Asian quisine and wonderful innovative dishes. This is a classic case of everyone thinking it must be good because it has foodie awards, it's not. I try out top Sydney and overseas restaurants weekly, will not go back.

The best thing about this restaurant are service and the food. The cozy of the Japanese inspired ambiance makes your feel you are in Japan. And I say service because their staff really makes you feel very comfortable with big smile in their faces. And the food "yummy!", I cant wait to come Back.

Amazing Food!! Booked 6 months in advance for a celebratory dinner and it was absolutely worth it, very special place to dine. The service was impeccable with extremely polite and friendly staff who knew more than you could even imagine about the food and wine. Defiantly a must visit!

So disappointed! Not 5 star quality at all. We stayed in a King Room.
I understand the restrictions in regard to COVID-19 and hospitality BUT, there was, no bottle opener, only x2 sugars, one glass in the bathroom, no slippers, single layer toilet paper, the pillows were very uncomfortable, no information about the room, hotel amenities, or availability of in-house dinning options or Sydney attractions etc .We asked for an extra blanket and was given a single blanket for a king size bed. The towels were hard and crispy. I could say more but I think you will get the picture. :(
On a positive note, the staff were fantastic.

Justin, Patrick and Buster are very welcoming staff which you don’t find everywhere! They greet you no matter what time of the day with friendly smiles - incredibly hospitable! They gave us a tour of the ‘strong room’ and shared the history of the building. Beautiful architecture! The hotel rooms are always immaculate, comfortable and value for money. The roof top bar and pool are always lots of fun too! Highly recommend this hotel if visiting Sydney.

Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, the Primus hotel has over 100 years worth of stories. This iconic hotel has seen the growth of the city over the course of time while serve as a important memory in many people’s heart. The hotel follows many of the protocols and keep up with the status quo. It has all the facilities a 5 star hotel must have. My friend and I have stayed with them for over a week, my friend, who is also a returning customer, has their membership card which unlocks many perks.

The hotel exterior definitely got a rustic look to it with interiors that has already undergone many modifications. The common lobby, the restaurants, the elevator, corridor and overall ambiance of the room send us back to a decade back. The black coloured wooden work definitely adds a classic feel to the room.

Here are some observations;
- the lift is a bit slow. Wish it could be faster
- the room wardrobes and all cub boards that are able to open lacks sort of door knobs or grip. It’s so annoying to open it by pinching/gripping the wood
- the toilet can be fitted with even more modern facilities
- the touch control light switches are definitely great
- the air conditioning is well maintained and super effective
- the cleaning service is top notch and love the staff
- the hotel lacks proper signs outside
- the construction next door makes the hotel hard to notice from the street. First time I went to the back alley way and then walked back to reach the entrance. Google maps to blame
- the pool is a bit small and there are no longer privacy, I don’t mind, as there are large skyscrapers surrounding the 7 floored hotel building; still fun to have a nice pool time
- the staff were super friendly and courteous
- and to my surprise, the food menu is affordable and not at all overpriced
- room service doesn’t come with any extra charges
- late night room service menu can be improved by adding more items

Lovely standard of hotel and the heritage feel of the building meeting contemporary. Nicely appointed rooms and nice bedding made for a great nights rest. Rooftop is a great addition and we have used for birthday gatherings before (great in summer). Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again.

The hotel looks more grand than what the photos show. The room are specious, clean and new. There are a lot of bench space which is really useful. The room has all the basic amenities you need. The bed is really comfy with premium linen and choices of pillows. The hotel gave us a nice treat for our trip. The bathroom is modern and clean. The location is excellent, all the key tourist places are within a walkable distance. Highly recommended.
