The location is fantastic, located by the Darling Harbour, you can reach the Aquarium and Darling Harbour within 3-5 minutes. You can also access Sydney CBD (QVB etc. For the staff, they are super friendly and helpful
Located in Darling Harbour with a great sea view, this hotel is super convenient, just a short walk to the CBD. However, the steak at the restaurant was just okay.
Revisiting after 15 years, I stayed at this hotel before. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around
Our only small concern is that the breakfast selection was almost the same each day, but the food quality was good overall
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Darling Harbour. The rooftop bar offers great views. Breakfast was just okay, mostly Western options. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming
The room is on the smaller side but comfortable, clean, and felt very safe and secure for our family. It’s also close to shopping areas and nearby parks, which our kids really enjoyed
To be Marriott, I would have expected better since it’s a very big and popular chain around the world. But the position it is in is the best. It really is and I really recommend it
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; you can walk to all areas of the city. Circular Quay is just a 5-minute walk, and you can easily stroll to the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge
From the rooms we were assigned, the Opera House view had a better layout and angle. My photography skills aren't great, so the view was even more impressive in person
Plus, you can even see the bridge from your hotel room, which is fantastic!
Very friendly staff with speedy services to provide
Generous and thoughtfulness for customers especially with check in process, appreciated
The breakfast was decent, pretty standard. The room wasn't very big, just okay, but it was quite clean. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. Its good location is definitely a plus.

Environment & Hygiene: As an established hotel, the hygiene and environment are very good, and it's always packed with guests
Baths with views would have been an easy touch as well as a little bit more generous style. This is not really a complaint. It was a good room and an even better experience
Location: Excellent! It's near Circular Quay, so you can easily get anywhere in Sydney by ferry or bus
The hotel's location is also excellent, very close to the harbor. There are many shopping malls and restaurants nearby, all within walking distance. It's also very quiet at night, making for a great sleeping experience
Big thanks to the best team at Horizon Club Lounge (Saskia and one of the concierge team members) who have made our Christmas Eve and Christmas Day even more special
Sydney truly is the Chongqing of Australia, so many hills! I was absolutely breathless walking up to this hotel 😮💨. The room was a bit dated, but it was fine – you could call it 'old money' style
Sydney, 108 Oxford Street (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
W Sydney hotel provided good service, is near the darling harbour
The location is fantastic, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I especially loved the rooftop pool with its beautiful views. It's perfect for families, with spacious rooms and really comfortable mattresses
On the other remaining days, they simply said they'd change the towels and empty the trash, and their attitude was quite good. What truly baffled me was the lack of complimentary bottled water in the room
Beautiful room with the best location! Love the stunning view and the room!
Plus, there are tons of great food options nearby
I made it clear I didn't want the room cleaned when I was out, and when I returned, they'd formally ask if I needed it cleaned. Out of five days, only one day was the room actually tidied after I left
This is one of my favourite hotels. The staff are always very accommodating. I was pleasantly upgraded to a suite this time. The bed was very comfortable and the suite had everything I needed
We recently stayed at Rydges World Square and overall had a lovely experience. The room was big and very comfortable, which made our stay really enjoyable
The hotel service was excellent, very warm and welcoming, with a fantastic attitude. The hygiene was top-notch, and the location was super convenient for getting around
We booked the room for $584, but later noticed the price had dropped to $510. It would have been great to receive the lower rate. Aside from these issues, we truly enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back again
My daughters absolutely loved it, especially having plenty of space to relax. What I appreciated most was the separate room setup for parents and children — it gave us privacy while still being together as a family
That layout made a big difference and made the stay feel even more comfortable and convenient. However, the car park was quite difficult to find
It was easy to get to location wise. Close to public tranaport. The rooms were beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The food was nice, a little expensive, but nice. Overall a lovely experience. Very relaxing.
The hotel is in a great location. Central to circular quay and darling harbour. Very close to wynards train station. Although on a steep road it’s not too far to walk from York street
Everything about the hotel was spotless from having the doors open everytime you entered or left the hotel. The only disappointment for us was the breakfast
We felt for what you are paying for the food wasn’t value for money. All in all a very nice hotel and would reccommend
The only downside is that the shower head has very weak water pressure, which makes showering a bit of a struggle. Otherwise, everything else is good
The hotel's location is quite convenient, right next to the MRT station. The service is also very good, and it's quiet
The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of Sydney's CBD, making transportation very convenient. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated
Rooms have good floor area, the bathroom I had was large and clean. Would use again, close to Pitt st mall and QVB, reception on level 8 is a little odd.
Great place in a strategic location near QVB and other iconic spots in Sydney CBD. The area is lively and convenient, with the hotel situated just above a Westfield shopping centre
The amenities and services were excellent—any requests, like extra pillows and towels, were handled promptly. It also features a swimming pool, which is a great bonus to enjoy during your stay
The location is very convenient, and the service was good, but the room was definitely old and damp with a musty smell
Service is just okay, and it offers decent value for money. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport, costing around $35
Sydney, 241 O'Riordan St, 2020 Maskot, Novyy Yuzhnyy Uels, Avstraliya (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Overall, I'm quite satisfied. It's very close to the domestic terminal, less than a 10-minute walk. The room is spacious enough, the facilities are good, and the service is responsive. It offers good value for money.
good space to have rest for waiting flight, really good experience and good service
I felt $50 was a bit steep for just two extra hours, so I declined. There's a large supermarket and a food court about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, and the Thai food there was pretty good
It was clear the staff on the ground are doing their best to be professional and welcoming to customers, but they needed more help and resources
I chose to stay here because I had an early morning flight the next day. I arrived at the hotel close to midnight, and the staff said I could pay $50 for early check-in
When we got there my friend couldn’t get a glass of water from the restaurant because they were serving another conference and they were too busy making coffee. At the bar that night only one person was serving
Showers are a wonderful was to wake up before you morning flight!
There is a bar downstairs as well for a sneaky beverage when you get in late at night
convenience convenience convenience. location was all that matters for this stay. very easy access to airport for next day morning flight.
Excellent location - Quantas desk across the road for baggage check in and bus to T3 - seamless - food good in Hotel also - wake up call did the job
This hotel is right at the airport, the closest one to Terminal 1. There's a bus stop right next to the building. The restaurant on the M floor serves both breakfast and dinner, and the food and service are excellent
Great hotel with views over the runway and excellent location right next to the international terminal!
Rooms are very comfy. Our family of four was well looked after and had loads of space
The room is very good for a very beautiful airport view and clean environment
Sydney, Cnr. The Grand Parade & Princess Street (11 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It's also best not to get a room facing the pool/ocean, as there's loud music and parties every day
Sad about the pippis ( sesame sauce on it? Really?) The best recepi is garlic, olive all and coriander. Lamb shanks was a great idea in a massive pan swimming in rice, same to the "Taco shed"
The food wasn’t great ,the location was pretty good.overall not a place we would come back.
Good hotel but the out door swimming pool need heater to keep warm especially you not allowed kids to swim in indoor swimming pool that has control temperature to keep it warm.
The hotel is located at a very beautiful location. The check in personnel by the name of Gabriella was a very pleasant and helpful person. The room are reasonably spacious and clean
The only comment I have was that the bottled water were only supplied for the first night and no replenishment on subsequent night
The room offers a great view of the Suzhou scenery, and you can even see trains passing by. The location is excellent, very close to Hyde Park
This hotel provided an excellent stay. The front desk staff gave us a room with a great view, and the hotel's cleanliness was top-notch. The bed was also very comfortable
The first time I stayed, the Indian staff member was quite unhelpful. They demanded an extra AUD 100 for a higher floor, even though it was the exact same room type
Pros: The hotel room is a good size for all our luggages before our cruise. Metro is just on the other side of the street. Cons: The restaurant is only open in the evening
We booked a room for three people but only got two beds. The second time I stayed, a Caucasian staff member was working and they arranged for three beds, and that's when I realized it was supposed to be free
However, the location is great – quiet yet conveniently located with good transport links and a pleasant surrounding area. There's a supermarket right next door, and the price is quite reasonable too
convenient location, handy to most destinations, good facilities, has parking, clean & tidy rooms, and well trained & helpful team members..!! :-)
Children’s menu is good, large sizes and decent value. Rooms could have been a little cleaner with tea and coffee sticks low and lipstick on cup - however I know they would have rectified if requested
Ok airport hotel. Compared to other airport hotels in Sydney probably the best value for money.
Shuttle good, frequent and 5 mins from airport
A simple two night stay costed me twice as much as it should have. I contacted them and over two weeks and haven't hear a thing. So nearly additional 900-1100 of extra charges
Very helpful when one of the rooms appeared to have been changed before booking in to a room without adequate beds for guests. Don’t know why and had checked earlier in the day there wasn’t a problem
Sydney, 169-179 Thomas Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The service was commendable, and the breakfast was excellent. Its location is fantastic, right in the city center yet surprisingly quiet
This is an older hotel, but its location is excellent. The price is quite reasonable compared to others, offering great value for money
The breakfast offered a good variety
For the price, it's still pretty good value for money, though it does get more expensive on weekends
However, the facilities are quite outdated, and the internet connection was particularly bad, almost unbearable. Everything else was great, though. I hope for an upgrade and renovation soon
The room was super comfortable, and the location is great – right between Sydney University and Circular Quay. It's really easy to get around by public transport
Sydney, 212 Riley Street Surry Hills,Riley Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I never disappointed with this hotel’s each time they always go above beyond or exceed guest expectations as they try to accomodate the guests need and want but have to understand this is what u pay for and what u get so do not too kind and suffer the rate and back of house cause they are the one who work really hard abd stressful to finished the task on time and to make a guest have and pleasant...
Perfect location, newly renovated, helpful staff large sized room.
The special menus is more expensive than usual but staff need to train how to sell , how to speak and the worse case become and excellent
Hair dryer provided, mini fridge, kettle and coffee machine included in the room. Only stayed one night but would be good for long stays too, recomend greatly
Had a great stay. The place was clean and neat, and very easy to locate. Loved the vibe and the funky décor — it really stood out. Free amenities like coffee and a hairdryer were a nice bonus. Would happily stay again.
I haven’t have a chance to dine in the restaurant but just walk pass and busy but lunch is quiet or steady and the hotel should have an standard opening procedure (SOP) and train the staff with consistency service
Sydney, 17 Little Pier Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Nice hotel, good location to restaurants, shops and landmarks , nice clean room and shower
Kristina was very friendly and helpful during check-in. We really appreciated her assistance with all the concierge information. However, the room had two bottles of shampoo and no shower gel
Everyone gets their own bed, yay! We were so happy. And the location is absolutely incredible. Traveling with kids, this place is a dream. There's Haidilao, McDonald's, and Meet Fresh right across the street
Walk the other way and you'll find a kids' playground! When you're tired, just head to Darling Harbour to feel the breeze and take in the city night view~
The room was cleaned daily, and it was very quiet at night
The location is fantastic, very close to Chinatown, and the lobby is quite grand. However, the rooms themselves lack character and the view is pretty ordinary
Good location, many restaurants nearby. staffs is nice. near central station
The accommodation is in a convenient location. The rooms are old and the amenities are not in very good condition, but overall the stay was comfortable and complete.
Pretty conveniently located for public transport especially the airport train with central and museum stations only 5-10 mins walk away. Rooms were a good size for the price with decent size doubles
Convenience for traveling and eating, close central station, small room for three people ,friendly staff and well support.
All good, the pool could have been heated, too cold to use but ok
When I reported the issue to the front desk, a male staff member simply told me to use the internet in the lobby
Nicely refreshed
Great location
Very nice welcome from desk
Parking a little expensive
Choose a sea view room
Will be back
The buffet breakfast at Bistro Manly is divine - a tip its worth a trip to Manly to enjoy the breakfast with view of the beach
Great location, staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms however were very dated and unfortunately didn’t reach the standard of a “5 star” hotel. You’re paying for the location
The restaurants are fantastic, if you’re visiting during a busy period make sure you book
At every single hotel I stay in the world it’s common when you ask at reception, how is my room, do I have a good view or location they check and my change it a little for better location or room type if they have vacancies
Sydney, Cnr Parkes St And Valentine Av (19 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Most of your staff were really good with just a few who seemed disinterested. I have also had to wait for 2 days to get my tax receipt & needed to follow up with an email to get it
Good locations but room seems quite old
It just feedback for check-in cause it was under my name (I did put my partner's name as a guest), but when he tried to check in, it required me to make a call, and no one answered at that time, so it took some time n complicated
The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I really appreciated the quick service and attention to detail. I would happily recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again
I know it's kind like procedure, but maybe there's some un-synched info between Trip and hotel
The stay was nice and the facilities are well-maintained
Sydney, Corner Of George & Bond Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The only small thing is that there are two paintings on the wall that look a bit scary at night 😂. Facilities: The photos accurately represent the actual facilities, and the overall feeling is very good
The service was also really good and all the staff were very friendly
Great hotel, super convenient for getting around. The room was spacious, and despite being in a busy area, it wasn't noisy at all. Right outside the door is a shopping street.
The location was excellent—Wynyard metro station is just a two-minute walk away, which was very convenient
My husband and I stayed here for three days. We loved it because it was very central and it was easy to access the eateries and was on the main street of George Street. We loved the size of our room
After I reported it, they said a technician wouldn't be available until the next day, but it still wasn't fixed. They also couldn't move me to another room
Sydney, 7 Hickson Rd, 2000 The Rocks, Novyy Yuzhnyy Uels, Avstraliya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is quite big. The service is good. The location is great.
The room had a great view, and the bed was large enough. The hotel staff were very welcoming and even escorted us back to our room. The breakfast had a Chinese menu and was quite delicious
The shower gel and other amenities were good. Although it's an older hotel, it was well-maintained
This place is well worth it for the view of the Opera House alone. The cleanliness of every single facility is exceptional. I was so happy to have had such a worthwhile stay~♡
The best view among all the hotels in Sydney! A truly classic location! A postcard-perfect view! The service was also excellent and attentive! The staff were friendly, professional, and patient! Thank you to the staff for going to the rooftop to retrieve our dropped items
I think this is the best hotel in Sydney.
Next time I come, I plan to stay here for the entire trip.
