Revisiting after 15 years, I stayed at this hotel before. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around. A special shout-out to the Indian gentleman at the front desk who helped me switch to a 14th-floor sea-view room – I was absolutely thrilled! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time. I just love Sydney; it was a very enjoyable Christmas trip.

The facilities, decor, and location are all excellent. The back exit leads directly to Darling Harbour, and the hotel bar offers beautiful views. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic. The only minor drawback was that the cleaning was a bit careless; there was still an eyelid tape left by the previous guest on the bathroom wall.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient; you can walk to all areas of the city. Circular Quay is just a 5-minute walk, and you can easily stroll to the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Plus, you can even see the bridge from your hotel room, which is fantastic!

Extremely satisfied, their professionalism truly deserves praise. I booked rooms overlooking both the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. From the rooms we were assigned, the Opera House view had a better layout and angle. My photography skills aren't great, so the view was even more impressive in person. The service was very warm; they knew it was Chinese New Year and even gave us some candies.

Sydney truly is the Chongqing of Australia, so many hills! I was absolutely breathless walking up to this hotel 😮💨. The room was a bit dated, but it was fine – you could call it 'old money' style. The bar view was absolutely spectacular! However, the food was really not good.

The room is very good for a very beautiful airport view and clean environment

The shower and toilet are separate, but the bathroom has no ventilation, so the room can get a bit smelly. The twin beds are two single beds, which are quite small, and the mattresses are too soft for Chinese preferences, making for an uncomfortable sleep. On the upside, it's very close and convenient to Airport T1!

There's no complimentary bottled water in the room, and a single bottle costs five dollars. The hotel is quite old, so the facilities are a bit dated. As the name suggests, it's a hotel with an American style. Its main advantages are its proximity to the airport and the wide beds in the twin room.

The first time I stayed, the Indian staff member was quite unhelpful. They demanded an extra AUD 100 for a higher floor, even though it was the exact same room type. We booked a room for three people but only got two beds. The second time I stayed, a Caucasian staff member was working and they arranged for three beds, and that's when I realized it was supposed to be free.

The room offers a great view of the Suzhou scenery, and you can even see trains passing by. The location is excellent, very close to Hyde Park. I arrived in the morning, which was before check-in time, but they had a place for me to shower, which was a thoughtful touch.

Hotel was nice but checking out i had to pay for the room again as nothing registered from my trip app. I paid for additional meal charges etc only to find out the money come out of my account. A simple two night stay costed me twice as much as it should have. I contacted them and over two weeks and haven't hear a thing. So nearly additional 900-1100 of extra charges. Very helpful when one of the rooms appeared to have been changed before booking in to a room without adequate beds for guests. Ok airport hotel. Compared to other airport hotels in Sydney probably the best value for money.

The Novotel was very well situated for international air travel. It was also easy to get i to central Sydney. However, the pool is disappointing The restaurant and bar menu are extremely limited with very little choice and the cuisine is nothing special. I had expected more and better. The staff on the other hand are extremely helpful and polite.

The hotel entrance and reception area look very nice, but the room, while fully equipped, was very old, as was the bathroom. I tried calling reception three times to ask for more towels, but they didn't answer the phone. The breakfast was okay, but they need to label the bread to distinguish between the gluten-free and regular bread.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from the LRT station. The room was spacious but a bit dated. When I checked in, the toilet kept running. After I reported it, they said a technician wouldn't be available until the next day, but it still wasn't fixed. They also couldn't move me to another room. The room was tiny and offered no value for money whatsoever, apart from the view of the Sydney Opera House! The à la carte breakfast was incomparable to what you'd get back home.

It was very nice experience with clean perfect view

Hotel is easy to find, but there’s nothing in the neighbourhood—you’ll need to drive to get anywhere. The bathroom amenities are very basic. Breakfast is not worth $36—you only get instant coffee, which is very disappointing. The sofa bed is only suitable for small kids, not for adults. You can feel the springs when sitting on it, and the mattress is very thin.

Poor service, poor attitudes, poor food, and a tired old hotel that probably needs to be revamped and get rid of their staff. Don’t waste your time.

The location is very close to the railway station and easy to get to airport. However, the design in the toilet has improvement because the water in bathroom will cause the wet floor within the toilet with the unsuitable design of glass door. The staffs are able to assist us for giving more towels to relief the wet impact as I mentioned before.

This was my second stay here. It's really convenient for getting to Macquarie Centre, and the rooms are clean. There's limited outdoor free parking right outside, but it's first-come, first-served, and it gets really tight on weekends. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Sydney.

Great location, was pretty central to everything in Darling Harvour - located on a quiet street with parking onsite. The Buffet Breakfast was delicious with great options. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. The rooms were very spacious & private bathrooms were adequate.
