From the moment we walked into the lobby, there was a strong smell throughout the hotel a mix of curry and musty cleaning products. Unfortunately, the odour continued into our room.

When we turned the lights on in the first room, multiple cockroaches scattered across the floor. We immediately informed reception and were told the cleaners had already finished for the day. We were moved to another room, which we appreciated, however the second room still smelt unpleasant and did not feel clean or well maintained.

While we were waiting to be allocated the second room, another guest who had checked in before us returned to reception visibly upset and in tears, also complaining about their room. This made it clear that the issues were not isolated.

The property looks very different from the photos online. The interiors are dated, carpets were stained, and the bed was uncomfortable. Overall, it felt run down and not reflective of the price paid.

Stayed on the 36th floor in room 362. Booked 2 bedroom with 2 singles and 1 king. Staff were lovely and accommodating.
Room was clean and the view of the Storybridge beautiful. Paid $414.

It's a bit run-down, but the location is good in the city, and the room is large. Check-out is at 10 AM, and they won't let you extend your check-out time for free. They use a key, not a room card.

The hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of Brisbane, offering convenient access to all parts of the city. It's also close to the Botanic Gardens and Queensland University of Technology, providing a tranquil retreat amidst the bustling city.

Service was great, I left a pair of airpods in my room and live down on the Gold Coast. I reached out to the front office over the phone and they took my number and had the Cleaning Manager check my room themselves, a few hours later I got an email saying the found the airpods and will ship them back to me no charge.

The staff have been friendly throughout the stay. The 2 bedroom apartment is outdated style, and the had a weird cleaning odour. We requested a balcony room for the intent of watching the fire works on the river for NYE, only to be met with a huge building blanketing the majority of the view. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable, the bathroom ensuite is quite cramped and the shower is a small corner cubicle with a disappointing shower head. There is air conditioning and fans throughout the apartment, however the air conditioner system on the balcony leaks, causing a puddle and a soggy mat. staff were accommodating with a foldaway bed for our extra guest, for an extra charge of $59 per night. There is no parking included in the stay, and the car park is a nightmare. I have an SUV and it was a harrowing experience trying to navigate through it and avoid hitting concrete posts, some sections having to do a 5 point turn to go around a corner. For the price of the apartment, it was surprising that parking was a extra, daily charge of $45. The pool and spa is refreshing, but is in desperate need of maintenance and updating. The pool sign also gave me a laugh.

I booked a two-room unit at the hotel. It was a little inconvenient, but the high ceiling and the view were great. The bathroom could be cleaner, and the shower facilities need some maintenance.

I paid over $300 to stay here and was pretty disappointed with the overall experience. The rooms are dated and show quite a bit of wear and tear. The bathroom had a strong drain smell that made it uncomfortable to use, and the bedroom didn’t even have a TV. The main TV kept freezing constantly, so it was impossible to watch anything anyway.

Parking was also difficult, especially for larger vehicles. On top of that, I wasn’t informed about the major construction happening across the road, which continued well into the night and made it hard to relax.

For the price, I expected a much better standard.

Good service. Average meals for the price range. A lot better places in Brisbane for great Japanese food for a quarter of the price. Your paying for the location of the restauran- that is all..

I've been going to Saké for many years now but will not be returning after our last visit (which was Christmas day 2017). The choices on the menu have reduced significantly. The portion sizes have also decreased whilst prices have increased. The staff scowled a lot, being stuffy and unfriendly. The food we had was nice but not nice enough to bring us back. In 2015 we celebrated Christmas at Saké and we loved the food and dining experience that time, but things have clearly changed.

It has been a few years since we dined at sake. And our last experience was amazing. But now, we are so disappointed, we order two entrees and two mains and we are now off to eat somewhere else as I feel we have only had a snack. Your portion size has shrunk. Omg, it has shrunk. So much so my wife thought the first dish that was brought out was a completely plate cleanser as it was so small. Don’t get me wrong the one to two bites of fish I had was amazing but when you are paying $34 for 6 tiny pieces that you could fit into one mouth full. I feel a tiny bit ripped off. If you have money to burn, come here. Plus we were seated in their casual seating area. Even thou we booked a week in advance it felt like we were in a busy sushi train place rather than a high end restaurant. You went from 5 stars to 2 stars sake. Oh how have you sold out big time.

Personally I think this restaurant is overpriced. The food is good but it didn't set my world on fire and for an expensive restaurant the atmosphere isn't what you'd expect - much busier and less personable.

This is a great place to have dinner, we had the chef's omasake set menu and it was absolutely delicious! The service was great and the place had a lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend! Some plum wine at the end didn't go astray

Just an average subway. Sandwich was filled but toasting a bit low. Fillings were presented ok. Lunch period is very busy and it is a small store but they were ripping through the numbers.

Fairly substandard Subway outlet. They never change gloves between serving and handling other gear. Fillings are slapped in, barely cover the length of the sub. Overall haphazard service

Service is bad.
Also i feel like the bread is thinner than other subways so it rips like no tomorrow. Basically the whole thing ended up all soggy and yuck.
Owner /manager man talks strange. if you don't understand what he says he will give you an attitude.
Staff dont really care much about what they are putting into the sub. I got a tomato with the stem (which i saw her put in) and the lady put in the wrong salads. Thought they would make me a new one after she chucked in a bunch of carrots that i told her not to put in, but she just took what she can out and there it was. Didn't ask for a new one. Won't be returning for a while.

The service wasn't great, it was very abrupt and quick despite an almost empty restaurant. Just little things like the waiter not bringing over eater and forgetting about it.
The food wasn't amazing. Rather bland and the pasta was overcooked. It did look nice though!

The worst work Christmas party lunch I ever had! Gave the restaurant a second chance after waiting an hour for a meal that didn't come 6 months ago and boy was that a bad mistake! Food over priced, small lasagna that colleague had to go grab more food on way back to work, food was cold or too salty, soft drink was flat, poor service - if not none and waited over 1 hour to eat. There was hardly anyone there but people who came in after us ate 2 meals before us (only 8 of us). Don't recommend at all!

Service was a bit slow, and the servers seemed overwhelmed with a 3/4 full restaurant, but they were friendly. Wines were not very good at all, but the food was tasty. I felt $15 for bruschetta was pretty expensive, considering its a low cost dish that must cost at most. 75c to make
