Great room for a great price, with an excellent location. No complaints at all with this hotel. Nice to have a balcony, and good water pressure in a shower. Considering my previous experiences with other hotels, this was a pleasant surprise

We have stayed here on numerous occasions because of the location, pool and gym. The common areas are always clean and tidy and the cleaner is always smiling and friendly. We had room 306 on the 3rd floor on this occasion which was very disappointing and in need of a major renovation. Small shower which constantly drips, the toilet runs internally and needs fixing, It's cabinetry, tiling and carpet are laminating and need to be addressed immediately. The positives - view was excellent facing the CBD and the bed was comfy. My partner got this through Airbnb.

Nice place in a good location, soaps and clean.
Main issue is that it's overlooking a busy road, and the windows are hopeless in terms of sound proofing

Near hospitals and at end of South Bank Parklands restaurants, cafes and events. Excellent from that point.

The staff were wonderful and accommodating. Walkable distance to South Bank parklands and dining and entertainment options. Room would benefit from renovations - seemed pretty worn out, sound from the next room carried so we could hear other guest talking on phone/watching tv and having shower quite clearly. Overall staff and location compensated any inconvenience during the short stay.

Ordered over the phone at lunch time and told it would be a 20 minute wait. Got there 20 mins later to collect and they obviously had forgotten to start my order, I waited 45 minutes. If I didn't have a sick relative at the hospital I would have got my money back rather than wait. No apology, no care!

Waited 23 minutes for this..... "Balsamic mushrooms, melted Brie and poached egg". balsamic , not pesto. And what Brie?
However, the chef is very responsive to my queries and offer to remedy my experience with coffee and some extra haloumi. The customer service from chef is highly appreciative. Hence rating changed from 1 to 3 stars.

We ordered the nachos as the deep fryer was broken. The nachos were terrible, just cheese sauce and guacamole. It was presented terribly and looked like vomit. We paid to have the beef and couldn't even see any meat in he sauce.

Good selection of craft beer, delicious burger, modern decor, friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Edit - I've now had the pleasure of heading here multiple times, the chicken schnitzel special is delicious and huge, plus a free beer from their core range has made me give them 5 ? now, would definitely recommend to friends!

My friend and i were part of a very large group arriving around 5.30 pm on Saturday. Ordered a expresso martini and was given half a glass empty. I was sure vodka and a shot of expresso wasn't the whole recipe but paid the $18 each. I watched him make the drink so I'm 100% sure he got it wrong. Left the bar and had a sip and as suspected it was awful but i didn't want to wait another 20 minutes too get served again. More training staff training needed.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside but has cemented itself as one of Brisbanes best pubs in my opinion.

Awesome beer selection with hard to find seasonal beers including a good range of dark beers. I recommend the coffee stout.

What really sets this place apart is the friendliness of the staff, they are more than willing to assist you find something you like and have tastings.

Have only eaten here once and monday parmy deals were great.

Kudos to management for setting up a venue that exceeds expectations every time i visit.
