This is our go-to destination for stays and holidays in Brisbane. We have stayed many times and have found the upstairs front [East facing] apartments to be clean, light, comfortable and quiet and the concierge service friendly and responsive. The rooms at the back of the complex are very small and probably only for an overnight stay on the way to the airport. [The reviews on this site talking about grime, mould etc. are puzzling because this has not been our experience.

Very convenient location with the supermarket across the road. Just a few blocks to Bretts wharf also. Quiet in the evenings in terms of road noise, some noise from plumbing in other apartments. The mattress in the main bedroom wasn’t great, due for replacement I think.

I have recently returned here since my first review & my trip to Japan, without any hesitation. It feels like home for me.

On my return trip, combined with a busy time, finalising my relocation back to beautiful Brisbane which is home for me, this was a longer stay & I loved it!

This property is so well managed by Cameron who is extremely professional, very helpful & so hospitable. He always makes his guests feel so welcomed & will help in any way which I appreciated.

The different room types are able to suit all your needs from a studio to a larger apartment which are all superb. I have now experienced both & could highly recommend to all depending on needs.

My first experience & initial review….

I really enjoyed my stay here for 3 nights prior to my departure for Japan. This location is home for me over the years in Brisbane & I love this location. My room was so quiet as requested allowing good rest & sleep. The service was excellent & Cameron was so helpful. I loved being able to prepare meals & do laundry as required with all close by for anything needed. I’d highly recommend to all.

This was the second time I have stayed here. The first time a few years ago was fine and the location is good so we rebooked. I was hesitant after reading some more recent reviews but booked anyway. The communication is super helpful and responsive and the check in is very straight forward which I appreciate. However, I could not get out of there fast enough. The unit smelt like a mixture of cigarettes and air freshener. The sofa and carpets were absolutely visibly filthy. The kitchen was clean and well equipped but the rest of the 3bedroom unit was disgusting. The tiles looked like they had never been mopped and when wiped were black. The main bathroom was so mouldy in the silicon etc and the ensuite stunk of mould as the roof was covered. There were hair balls in the bathroom. The cleanliness and hygiene seriously needs to be reviewed and I would never stay here or recommend staying here.

Self check-in on the weekend worked great. We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom apartment. It is very spacious, with comfortable beds. It cost $50 in a mini bus taxi from the airport.
Coles is across the road, however there was not enough kitchen equipment available for cooking dinner for a family of 4. We should have checked it out before deciding what to cook! No large pot, so we had to boil pasta in 3 goes.
On the surface this place is clean however it needs a really good deep clean. The carpets had a lot of dust around the edges and doorways, as did the bathrooms. There was also a lot of hair and debris left in the shower and bathtub from previous guests so we had to rinse it all out before bathing our kids. The laundry needs a really good clean. The lint catcher in the dryer was full and the detergent drawer in the washing machine was really gross.
Overall, I would still stay here again as it was good value, comfortable and in a great location.

Iv stayed here on several occasions it's a great location close to all the amenities, within a 15 min cab journey to either the city or the airport and the staff are just fantastic should you require any form of assistance.

Very disappointing experience. Their website stated their Ascot store traded until 9:30 pm on Saturdays. When we got there at 5:45pm their attendant quickly came to tell us they were closing in 15 minutes. Very frustrating.

Good cakes and bread but the coffee is poor. I've been here multiple times hoping the coffee would get better but it hasn't. They also now have an eftpos minimum which is a bit ridiculous for a cafe in 2017. Definitely not the right choice for me anymore.

Beautiful cakes - we chose the Jupiter from a wide range of options. It was amazing! I was surprised the coffee was so good. A lovely little cafe! Will definitely be visiting again.

Favourite coffee in Ascot.

This is my regular coffee spot. The staff are really friendly, and coffee is reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend. Air conditioning inside, and fans outside.

Surprising good coffee for the Coffee Club, the waitress actually listened to me when i ordered my warm skinny latte. One of my pet hates about Coffee Club is they burn the beans by having the water to hot and the milk scolding, this time they got the temperatures right and I enjoyed my coffee so much i had another.
The staff where friendly and attentive, they actually seemed like they wanted to be there and liked there job. whilst I didn't order any food, what i did see come out of the kitchen looked good and well presented.

Pizza was extremely poor, Pizza Hut could've done a better job for a $20 pizza. On top of that, the staff is a joke. Instead of saying "Hi, welcome to Pizza Capers" she randomly asked me straight away in a frustrated manner if I'm an Uber delivery driver. Um, no I'm not, I'm a customer you stupid lady! Don't bother, and to all the customers, make your own pizza at home for a better pizza.

I got the lunch special with a side of dipping bread. It was really good! I had the personal pepperoni and it was very filling, and had a great amount of kick. The dipping bread was just beautiful! Good amount of cheese, and it was cut into little strips that were the perfect size. I guess we got there just as they were closing up because after serving us we found the doors locked when we tried to get another drink.

Very tasty pizza, but service was a bit confused when we ate in. My companion was allowed to take a beer straight from the fridge, but had to ask for it to be opened, and for a glass. Drinking water came later. Our meat eater coped with the vegetarian Arancini pizza.
