The reception staff were all very kind!
There's a shopping center a short walk away, which includes T2 and Target! Also, since all the cooking utensils were provided, I was able to buy ingredients at the supermarket and cook my own meals, which saved me a lot of money!

The accommodations were super clean and environmentally sensitive - and a very nice walk from all the things going on in the city. They had great information about tourist spots and where to go as a local. If you're there for more than a few days, I highly recommend! Their free bikes and pool were the cherries on top.

Great staff--they do everything they can to insure a great stay. Loaned us umbrellas, beach stuff, a shopping cart--plus lots of ideas on what to do. It is far enough away from the waterfront to be quieter, but just down the street from a major mall and an easy walk to the waterfront or there is a busline a block away.It is NOT the "Ritz"--but had a great pool that was empty most of the time and felt much more personal than a chain hotel.

It's not bad, but be careful when closing the balcony door, there will be a little gecko running behind the refrigerator and then making a loud beeping sound, which will scare you.

We had the most amazing experience. Great staff, apartment ( very spacious, many useful amenities, great pool) and location in a calm area within walking distance of all the great night life!

Need some renovations. Also, in the room the furnitures are very basic. The swimming pool is good. Clean.

The location is good, 10 minutes walk to the shopping center (supermarket and shopping), 25 minutes to the cruise terminal. The staff is very friendly. The cleanliness of the room needs to be improved. When I checked in, the bed sheets had some mold stains and many furnitures were dusty. Some supplies such as pots and pans, electrical appliances are a little worn out. Overall, the price/performance ratio is OK.

We stayed here during the spring break for our children.
First of all, don't get confused and understand that this is an apartment, not a hotel.
If you can prepare and buy your own personal items as needed, it's a very nice place.
It has good access to the Cairns shopping center and other major facilities, there is no problem with parking for rental cars, the pool is only available to guests, so you can use it almost exclusively, you can use the veranda freely, and most of all, the owner's friendly greeting made me want to stay longer.
We made a reservation the day before we arrived because our flight from Japan was early in the morning, but we were sent an email in advance with instructions on how to enter and other things, so we were able to shower, rest, and play energetically in the afternoon!
The only things we were glad to bring with us were body soap and soft tissues, and the only thing we wanted was a Teflon-coated frying pan? I can't think of anything in particular...
Basically everything is available, and if you don't have it, you can buy anything at the supermarket or the reject shop across the street!

The kitchen is not clean and the dishes are not clean. The environment is good, not far from the supermarket and night market, the service staff are enthusiastic and responsive

I wanted to grab coffee and some breakfast at 6.30am. Stood at the cafe counter for several minutes being ignored by the staff member. I then said good morning and was told I had to wait atleast 5mins or more before I could be served. The restaurant had four customers already seated and eating. I have noticed staff members will completely ignore customers if they feel they are to busy, poeple don't mind waiting however being acknowledged is always appreciated.

The most useless Mcdonalds I've been to. Frappe machine constantly broken. Thick shake machine constantly broken, can't get an order right, won't give you what you ordered because apparently you haven't paid for it because the girl who took your order neglected to put it through properly. Won't allow you to pay for it at the pick up window. They stuff up & you have to wear it. Bloodly lousy all round!!!

No different to McDonalds and McCafe the world over ? although the chai latte was very sweet and the toasted ham & cheese had the tiniest smear of cheese to be almost invisible. Stick to the big Mac & fries I reckon.?
