Good facilities in the apartment with a comfortable bed and full kitchen. Easy walk into town. WiFi wasn’t very good.

Our family spent a week at Verandahs Port Douglas. Sue was an absolute super star host, she had the answers to all of our questions and expertly pointed us in the direction of the best local attractions, coral reef tours, day spas, massage therapists, evening boat cruises, local coffee shops, the best gelato in town, bars with incredible sunset views and even an amazing restaurant for our final evening.
Our apartment was fabulous. It was super clean and spacious. Plus it had everything a family of four needed for a relaxing week away.
Thank you to Sue, Greg and Bec for the very best family holiday that we have ever had. We were particularily impressed with the way you remembered our names and your cheerful and friendly manner.
We're so looking forward to coming back to paradise very soon! (And escaping Melbourne's cold and wet weather)

We had an excellent stay at this boutique apartment and felt at home the moment we walked in. The place was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and air conditioning in every room. Its central location made it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and nearby amenities, which was incredibly convenient.

The swimming pool was a real highligh, our kids thoroughly enjoyed it and spent a lot of time there. Overall, it was a perfect home away from home, and we would happily stay here again!

The apartment layout was great. It had modern decor. We loved having a private balcony and bbq. Very comfortable stay.

The pool area was fantastic, a perfect spot to relax, and the apartment kitchen and shared BBQ facilities made breakfasts and easy dinners so convenient. Everything was thoughtfully set up to make our stay enjoyable and stress-free.

A special mention to Brooke, who checked us in – she was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which set the tone for the rest of our stay.

Verandahs truly felt like a little slice of paradise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-kept, and relaxing and convenient place to stay in Port Douglas. We will definitely be back!

I am surprised to see the previous reviews. My family and I loved the pizza, especially the base, which was thin, crispy and tasty, just like in Italy. We wanted the deal with the 2 for 1 homemade tiramisu but there was only one tiramisu left, so the chef gave us the tiramisu plus a desert pizza with nutella, bananas and walnuts, my kids loved it and asked for more. If you want an authentic pizza in Port Douglas, go to Portico!

The place advertizes vegan options but does not actually offer them giving the excuse that the suoermarket was out of stock. That would be the same supermarket we went to and bought all vegan ingrediants including vegan cheese and made our own pizza. The attittude of the sales girl was very poor and it seemed that out business was not wanted and that was before we asked for the vegan options. The pizzas are quite small for the price and will not fill a hungry large adult. Much improvemement required.

Good atmosphere and service, but the food was very average. I had a beef and reef - tough overcooked pan fried piece of meat. One of the worst ones I ever had.
