Decent location, nice pool and clean room with enough space. Kind staff.

We were looking forward to a real resort style stay. Staff were amazing and location was superb. We had a few issues with the shower, and Oaks admitted that it was a renovation defect with water seeping out to the whole bathroom. As mature guests, we were placed on the second floor with no lifts, which proved a bit taxing on the legs. The bellboys were supportive to help with the baggage. Not sure...

Very accommodating, and able to help with a last-minute booking. The pool was lovely, and the late-night receptionist was extremely professional. I believe her name was Charlotte, and I would definitely recommend her for a promotion. I would also suggest spending a little more for one of the nicer rooms, I will certainly do so next time

3 bedroom with plunge pool was stunning. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we could have hoped for. The apartment was clean, spacious and well stocked. The swimming pool was enormous and such a nice activity at any time day or night. Heather in reception was super friendly and offered so many helpful suggestions on eateries and activities. We were a party of 5 and stayed 7 nights.

Overall very happy with resort. The staff were excellent, very helpful and super friendly! One small piece of feedback, the mattresses were uncomfortable, far too soft, that’s a personal thing as everyone is different but these were on the extreme! We had a great stay at the Regal. It was very quiet during the low season so we were lucky enough to have the pool to ourselves most days. Great facilities at the pool (fridge, BBQ) and the room had everything we needed (plates, bowls and cutlery, and two bath towels each plus swimming towels for the pool/beach). Regal is a good deal We enjoyed it stay at the Regal. The grill was great, the room had nice amenities tho sharper knives would be great. The Regal is nicely located in all directions. Had a great stay. In an ideal world it would have been better to have the toilet in a separate room, given the generous size of the rooms, but a minor point really. Would stay here again without hesitation

First time staying here and we definitely going to come back , the rooms are clean , every room has access straight to the swimming pool , quiet and only 5 minutes walk distance from the Main Street and swimming nets at the beach .

We had a wonderful stay at The Meridian in Port Douglas. The apartment was spotlessly clean with crisp, clean sheets and thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was especially well equipped, with glasses chilled in the fridge, water provided, and all the essentials like washing-up liquid, cloths, and washing powder — those little details really made a difference. We had a room on the ground floor with direct access to the pool. It was great, the facilities were nice and clean and it was quiet too. Not having any kids there made a huge difference noise wise. I would definitely go back and stay again. Just a short walk to the town centre with everything you need for a good holiday right there.

My wife and i stayed at the Meridian Port Douglas in November this year. Our room was awesome. Our room had pool access from the bedroom. Very clean bathroom and a nice big bed. Staff were very friendly, and even let us use the facilities there on our checkout, while we waited for our coach back to Cairns. We will definitely book with them again next year. Also, adults only was a plus! Cheers!

The hotel is beautiful, pool, grounds and spotlessly clean. The staff were really helpful (especially the English girl), not far to walk from town and harbour. Bedding and towels immaculate, they even supplied beach/pool towels. Our only concern was that there was a bit of maintenance work going on as end of season which was noisy and the pool bar wasn’t well stocked, and we’d have loved some eggs...

The room was clean. The staff were do helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking on site, rooms were nice and well appointed. The pool had lots of different areas - good for kids as it is shallow. Breakfast was OK - standard continental. Would have been disappointed if we had paid $25 for it - it was included with our stay. Overall oyr stay was fantastic value for money.

Clean and basic small room. Good location of hotel near the beach. Not convinced it should be a 4 star hotel when there's not even a 2 pin socket in the bathroom to charge my shaver and the rooms were not serviced for the duration of the stay.

Staff absolutely fantastic. Lovely pool and not too far from town. Unfortunately our power was out from 8am , 9.30 to 1pm for four days due to work carried out. The hotel wasn’t full and earlier notice would have been appreciated regarding the outage’s and the opportunity to change rooms where the power wasn’t disconnected.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Port Douglas. We were only at the hotel for 12 hours so were unable to use all the amenities of the accommodation. Contactless check in as we arrived late and departed early but a very kind gesture of a bottle of wine and note from the team to help us celebrate our honeymoon. Would recommend!

Great value for money, staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a spa room which was a really nice touch, nice and close to the shops on Macrossan St, would definitely stay again. 🙂

There were some minor maintenance issues, which were remedied immediately. The staff were friendly and the location is perfect, as shopping, dining, coffee spots are literally around the corner! The cleanliness of the rooms was good with room for some improvement - although this was not enough to marr the experience in any way :)

The place was in a great location. Near four mile beach and walking distance to the town. Floor was dirty when we arrived, but there was a broom and dust pan in the unit so took care of that. The pool was lovely and the laundry was free! They provided detergent and the dishes/ hot plate worked great

Bay Villas is an excellent property to stay with family and friends.

We come every year and just love the quiet peaceful relaxed vibe. Adults only is the best, you can totally switch off and enjoy your break. Shantara is close to everything, can walk easily to the beach, marina and shops and restaurants/cafes/bars. Tours pick up at the door. Staff are very helpful.

Great location, good value, staff very friendly and happy to suggest great day trips. Room not as clean as last time we stayed, but that could be a bad day for the cleaner. Think rooms vary on whether owners have updated or not.

Stayed at reef club a few times now and always enjoyed the place as a base for our trip. Marina Terrace is perfectly located, a 5 minute walk to the start of Macrossan street and 5 minutes to the beach. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool is salt water and beautiful.

Great accommodation in a fantastic location. A stones throw from the beach and main street, which has everything you need. Fantastic heated pool, like swimming in a warm bath, great for a night swim.

This resort has an old-fashioned feel, with lush vegetation and warm, attentive service. However, given its age, the facilities are somewhat outdated, the electrical outlets are poorly placed, and the rooms are prone to dampness. During the rainy season, you need to pay attention and empty the dehumidifier promptly when it's full.

The staff were great although I was tired after the drive up from Cairns after a working shift, I just wanted to check in and relax after driving 1 hour from Cairns. The front desk lady was lovely but I felt that she was wanting me to attend the Wyndham presentation after I said I purely wanted to check in and relax.

I loved the tropical and central garden of the hotel. Staff are superb, especially under the pressure of a busy property. My room was perfect. Comfortable, cool, a great shower/tub + all amenities of an apartment (stove, over, half-fridge, dishwasher and laundry). It’s a very family-oriented resort with kids filling the pool most of the day. That’s a light negative for me, perhaps a plus for you!...

Coconut Grove is perfectly located and exceptionally well appointed, with high-quality fixtures and fittings, including a washer and dryer. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. Sadly, the weather meant we couldn’t enjoy the rooftop terrace, pool and jacuzzi, but it looked fantastic. Port Douglas is a wonderful holiday destination, and Coconut Grove is the perfect place to stay.

Aparment was very nice. Two Bedroom better suited for a family than two couples as one of the bedrooms is small with very limited Closet and storage space. I stayed for 5 nights at The Freestyle Resort in October. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. I also had a balcony overlooking the pool. Anne was wonderful to me. She confirmed trips and pick ups for me and was always around for a chat. She really put me at ease, as I was travelling on my own. Liz

We had four adults staying in a room for 2 nights and at no point did we feel like there wasn't enough space. The rooms are well kept, staff were friendly and helpful and the area was nice and quiet. It is a little out of town which only becomes an issue if you need to rely on Port Douglas' lack of public transport. If you have your own transport than it's a pretty quick trip.

Great stay in a very affordable appartment in the heart of Port Douglas. Conny is a very attentive host, and she did her very best to accommodate our needs. The pool is not very big but set in a fabulous tropical setting, very refreshing any time of the day. We felt at home and will keep a found memory of our stay in Le Cher du Monde.

The location is excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. They booked me a transfer from PD to Cairns and recommended an excellent tour company to visit the Barrier Reef. I highly recommend these self catering holiday apartments.

We had a great stay at the Lazy Lizard. Rooms are clean and spacious with plenty of amenities. It's only a short trip into the Main Street. Aiden was very friendly and helpful.
