Absolutely wonderful place from the building decor giving elegance to Kevin the hotel manager just being an absolute delight.

We loved it so much we have already booked our second stay of the month!

22.04.2026 Anonymous

The location is very near at rundle mall and i really like it. Very nice apartment and super clean. I will definitely come back

03.04.2026 Guest

Very clean, comfortable to live in, and ideally located. Air conditioning in the bedroom is a bit lacking in hot weather; there's only a fan. The washing machine upstairs is a paid service, $4 per load.

29.01.2026 Aideen

Spotless room. Very comfortable even with the heatwave. Brian is lovely, so very helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

11.01.2026 Cain

Stayed there recently with my family, during the statewide blackout. The staff were super helpful at all times. Some of the rooms need renovating, and this is not the place to stay if you are expecting a five-star modern hotel. Instead, if you want a beautiful and unique hotel, with fantastic staff, right on Rundle Mall, I'd highly recommend the place.

10.01.2026 Chris

Spacious rooms, friendly service and reasonable prices in an excellent location. Off street parking available.

10.01.2026 George

Reasonably priced for the location with very clean & spacious rooms and friendly staff. The only shortcoming with the rooms was the aircon in my view (one unit for large rooms meant the unit took awhile to cool down in summer). The premises is literally around the corner from Rundle Mall and only 3-7 min walk to the Museum and Royal Adelaide Hospital. Our last stay was for 3 weeks with the kids and yes we will be returning. Parking options include paid parking across the road at Wilsons. Eating options are plentiful with restaurants and fast food shops all around the area (and within walking distance).

09.01.2026 Coffeetom

I stayed in this dated small room with one bed in the living room! However the price and friendly service and sugestions the lady at the front desk gave us made up for it. Plus the building is quite old and renovating would make it the same as all the others. Thanks for a great stay guys!

30.12.2025 Maree

The spacious room, and provided facilities including a full kitchen and laundry were excellent, perfect for a longer stay. Cheap secure parking across the street, and a superb central location mere metres to Rundle Mall topped off a great holiday in Adelaide.

30.12.2025 Thao

Room was very dated with old kitchen, bathroom and poor lighting. Room was on level 1 facing the busy street with no sound proofing.
The good side is it has unparalleled location being very close to shops, food and attractions. Kevin, the hotel manager, provides excellent service and single handedly lift the rating of the review. He is a true problem solver and has amazing attention to detail.

Quite healthy and quick

29.07.2017 Zac

The staff are friendly, it's a smallish Subway when compared to others, though still very good

12.03.2017 Sena

You can use Subway Wifi for only one hour here. Oh and you can access to the Subway wifi from bing boy, the shop next to.

31.12.2017 Philip

Overpriced and average meals (size and quality). Was told the restaurant was booked out so had to sit at a booth which was fine. However for the whole time we were there no one went into the restaurant. Had to go up to pay for meal after waiting around and they charge 1.6% surcharge for using a credit card!

28.12.2017 M

Mediocre quality, expensive, totally customer-unfriendly. You are not allowed to share the buffet which is really annoying. Paywave not available. You better stay away. There are better options around the corner. To the owner: be less greedy mate

06.07.2017 Cassie

Elegantly presented dishes, health choices, loved the selection of dishes, both dinner and breakfasts.
Thank you

28.05.2017 Akash

Prompt service by staff and the manager when needed.
Excellent plating for the Sirloin steak. Decent portion of sour bread offered before the meal.
Noisy place from ongoing event also due to an open plan dinning area.
With the entertainment book voucher, more than worth the visit.

06.03.2017 Jade

Not entirely sure what happened here but we had a booking for 6 and waited until almost 6:30 before being seated. It wasn't busy and no explanation was offered. Apart from that, service was decent and the food was very good, but the general atmosphere was lacking. Probably will not be back

Most disappointing experience ever! Ordered after seeing the recommendatio s expecting some nice homely food.. so not the case! The calzone was dry and tasteless, the pizza was ok but really dry (the dough on both was fairly stale) and the tiramisu equally tasteless and the top had absorbed taste from where it was stored at the shop. Overall disappointed and hungry...

31.12.2017 Tina

Unfortunately I didn't get what I payed for. The seafood in my pasta was far from fresh. It was definitely frozen seafood. On top of that the calamari was incredibly rubbery and hard. For the price of $32 for my pasta, I could have gone to La Trattoria or Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant and pay $1 less for AUTHENTIC and fresh Italian food. We ate there because it was convenient given we were staying at the hotel next door. Take a ten minute walk and go to the stated restaurants above. The waitresses were lovely and apologetic. I had no response or apologies from the manager/owner who pretended like nothing happened. This restaurant is over priced and under quality.

24.12.2017 Mark

Open late Christmas eve. Everything else in town was shut. Popular place seems reasonably priced. Cozy.

13.12.2017 NICK

Good atmosphere, created by staff and great food

22.10.2017 Stephen

Had a group of 20 and they perfectly catered for everyone and all the meals were amazing and all on time!
