We have enjoyed the suite, very spacious, new, well equipped and well heated. Food was very good, a fish/seafood option was available every evening. The pool is good for small kids, saunas were great and never crowded. Staff attentive and helpful, we have enjoyed every minute. Bus stop to both skiing resorts is right in front of the hotel.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We (me, husband, his parents) stayed for a week in early December on a half board basis and LOVED it. The breakfast buffet is generous and delicious, and the five course dinners are out of this world. All the staff were also a delight - kind, helpful and very tolerant of my school-girl German. Having spent a skiing week with family and a group of friends at Hotel Almhof I am glad to recommend it for great service, fantastic food , nicely renovated amenities and location next to the slope in Galtuer Wirl and just a few kilometres from Ischgl skiing paradise. The owners make sure to maintain its local character while offering high quality food and wine experience. Beyond expectations.

The resturante in clean and people are ok. Not friendly thought. The prices are high and the food was not good at all. I'll start with the good things: the chardonay winr at glass was very good also the garlic soup. But the smash burger my kid of 10 could not eat and was starbing and it is his favourite food. The mix grill were a joke and was 30 euro.

Fantastic hotel, the food is very good and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The frequent ski bus to either Galtur or Ishgl stops at the boot room door. Can't fault anything about this hotel. Lots of winter walking for non-skiers. Spa facilities are a bonus.

Stayed in this lovely hotel for a week in January for skiing. Absolutely immaculate. Staff were happy and polite at all times and were so helpful. Quality of food was amazing. This was my 3rd trip to the Fluchthorn and would definitely recommend and return again. We had a great large room (215) which was spotless and still cleaned everyday. Had a lovely six nights at this hotel in the beautiful town of Galtür. We chose the location due to it proximity to the ski resort of Ischgl. I liked everything. Friendly staff that goes out of their way to help you solve your problems. Great location, clean, comfortable rooms. In the evening you can have a nice time and relax in the SPA. Just returned from the Wirlerhof in Galtur. This traditional Austrian gem is beautifully appointed. We stayed at the Alpenhotel Tirol on a Crystal Ski package holiday and can only echo the comments of previous reviews. The hotel is well situated on the edge of the village centre, so is in easy walking distance to the ski bus stop, ski hire shops, bank, bars and supermarket. Staff is very helpful and kind, the rooms are nice and well maintained. The jewel in the crown is the kitchen. The breakfast is rich, and dinner is a real masterpiece. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet area of Galtür, with quick and easy access to all ski areas in the region. The rooms are not very modern, but they were exceptionally clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The food was fresh, varied, and tasty. We went here for the third time in a row. It was always the same experience, babies, crying, and screaming everywhere, mother‘s dragging them into the adult pool, and the same on hygienic conditions. I saw babies licking their hands and then putting them into the smarty jar directly after however this experience wasn’t only bad. After a great stay last year we came back again this summer, and it was still as good as last year. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the food is good, there are plenty of activities for the kids and I loved the renovated spa area. This year I booked myself a massage and that was excellent as well.
