Hotel Monika & Montafon Chalets in Gaschurn

We had a fantastic stay at this aparthotel in Austria! The apartment was absolutely wonderful – very comfortable beds, a superb shower, and lovely high-quality toiletries. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, with everything we needed and more.

What truly made our stay special was the warm hospitality of the family. They were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We booked an apartment with an indoor sauna for four people, and it was absolutely fantastic. The beds are incredibly comfortable (including the sofa bed). The apartment is very cozy and modern. The sauna is perfect, and I've never experienced such a well-equipped kitchen in a hotel room. The ski storage room is also a great feature, and the ski lift is just a 3-minute walk away. All in all, truly excellent!

There were two of us staying at this beautiful hotel. Our apartment was simply perfect and very tastefully furnished, and it even had a sauna – which was very pleasant after a day of skiing.

The apartment is superbly equipped and very clean.

The location is perfect – everything is within easy walking distance – ski lift, supermarket, restaurants, etc. We thank you for the warm welcome upon check-in and departure – we would love to come back.

We stayed in the large apartment with four adults and a toddler.

The furnishings are tasteful, practically new, and very well-maintained. Spotlessly clean and incredibly friendly staff.

The amenities are absolutely above average and of very high quality. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, all of excellent quality, and the bathroom also includes a good hairdryer and a selection of toiletries.

Very comfortable beds and an absolutely quiet house for restful nights after long days on the slopes.

Even the communication before our arrival was straightforward, quick, and very friendly.

We were able to check in earlier than planned – a definite plus with a toddler 🫶🏻
All the staff on-site were also incredibly friendly.

The location is sensational. Perfect access for skiing and a top-of-the-line ski storage room. You get a large, heated ski locker. Everything is impeccably maintained and there's no ski boot mustiness 😅👌🏻

We stayed in this cozy hotel for a week and were pleasantly surprised to find a hotel just across the street of the lift station for such a reasonable price. Our room on the second floor was quite rustic (dimly lit, wood paneling everywhere), but that’s just how things are in Austria. We really liked that we had a balcony so we could keep our drinks cold and enjoy the amazing views. Breakfast included rolls, breads, cereals, yoghurt, dried fruit and all kinds of cheese, cold cuts and regional jams. You could also order egg dishes (at no charge) that were freshly cooked to your taste. In the afternoon, you’d find cake and hot beverages waiting there for you. We really enjoyed our trip and would always come back to Hotel Monika.

Room and breakfast were great! Clean and comfortable with short walk to gondola. Offered me a single room to save me money vs double I had booked online - honest and professional! Also great help with advice on ski rentals, lift tickets, etc.
