Falsely advertise rooms and don’t give the full refund when they cancel. We paid to stay for a week and incurred a currency conversion fee. They underpaid the full amount and have refused to reimburse the currency charge, the how now childishly stopped answering emails!! What a way to run a company! Stay well clear and do not trust any available dates issued on their website. I believe I dealt with both Pia and Nadine - good luck getting any professionalism from either.

I am sure this is the nicest hotel in Lech. The family-owned business was just completely gut renovated and reopened for service in December of 2025. The hotel is owned by the family of famous Olympic and highly awarded Austrian skiier Egon Zimmerman, and his accomplishments are on thoughtful display in various areas of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and warmly-designed with various lighting settings. The bathroom suite has separate shower and toilet areas, providing extra privacy. There are common spaces all over the hotel: a reading lounge on the second floor, a large dining room with bar (for breakfast- which is incredible), a welcome lounge (with fireplace), and full lounge/restaurant in the main level. The gym is large and has many machines and fresh water in pitchers. The space has a full spa with heated outdoor pool, hot tub, and cold plunge. There is a sauna, treatment rooms, and a large indoor seating area with a fireplace to lounge next to. There is also an indoor parking garage. It was truly a special stay and we feel lucky to have experienced it so soon after the renovation.

I cannot wait to go back! We had the most amazing week long stay at The Kristberg. Each and every member of the staff was delightful, warm and accomodating - Salon Lech was an oasis of peace while Scotch Club was full of fun and interesting people (and amazing cocktails and ambiance). The relaxation room and associated amenities - all 5 stars! Rooms were so comfortable - they literally thought of everything in the renovation. The towel warmers, coffee machine, hair dryer. ample closet space, comfy beds, darkening shades - there was not one thing we needed during our stay. We even did yoga one morning which was one of the highlights of our whole trip. Our family (2 adults, 3 kids - 16, 14 and 10) is looking forward to returning next year if we are lucky enough to do so. Thank you to everyone at the Kristberg for making our vacation in Austria picture perfect!

Everything about this hotel is done right. Beautiful,thoughtful design,great hotel rooms, lovely breakfast and spa facilities.Beds are very comfortable and staff are so helpful. I felt compelled to write my first review after being a user of TripAdvisor for many years and well travelled. 5 minute walk to town or shuttle to town or lifts readily available.

We spent had 4 days at this beautiful hotel and it was a wonderful place. The staff were all fantastic, nothing was too much for them and always with a smile on their face. The location was great with spectacular views. It is an easy 5 minute walk to the ski lifts, or the hotel has a free shuttle service to pick up and drop off. The spa area is so relaxing with a pool, spa, saunas. cold plunge and there is also yoga classes which is great way to unwind. there is also a gym if you want to do more exercise after skiing. Hotel Kristberg exceeded my exceptions, I have nothing but praise. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. Thank you for making our stay very memorable.

We stayed four nights at Kristberg and had a four bed room at Charlet Charlotte, a 2 min walk just beside the main building. Hotel Kristberg has a very friendly and familiar atmosphere with owner, and Ski champion, Egon Zimmermann and his staff being very service minded and friendly. Lech is a wonderful little ski resort with wonderful ski oportunities. The Kristberg hotel is excellent situated with a beautiful view of the montains just a short 2 min walk to the closest ski lift. The food and the service excellent, and the spa and massage also excellent. The hotel is - of course - a non smoking hotel, but still there was a bit smokey every now and then in the bar/living room area - even though it was an officially smoking free area. Since the smoke spread in to the near by dinner area and to the reception - there are room for improvement on that. Also the bed and particular the pillow could be better. Uncommon for Austria the pillows were surprisingly small and thin. Apart from the smoke and poor pillows, all in all a very pleasant stay!

Brand new hotel with beautiful rooms , i believe they first opened for business in Decembre 2025 . The hotel is a 5-10 min walk from town and nearest ski lift . The all day restaurant , Salon Lech, has a decent variety of choices but it does get redundant after couple of days so worth venturing out to the village to experience some nice choices . The hotel isn't ski in/out and their shuttle can get quite busy so either patience(they will pick you up eventually) or walk .

What an amazing experience, this hotel goes above and beyond! Starting out with the warm welcome by Nadine and team and ending up with one of the best experiences I had in the Alps.
It is almost a privilege to spend time with Michael and in the footsteps of his uncle Egon. I can only recommend this hotel as a must visit to Lech, to stay or just to eat and drink in the Scotch Club

This was my second stay at Hotel Kristberg, and I will absolutely come back. Last time I stayed here, I booked a room in the chalet next to the hotel. This time I booked a room in the hotel, and love the feeling of just walking in my slippers to breakfast. Egon and Michael Zimmermann is so welcoming, and they do everything they can to make your stay perfect. We arrived very late at the hotel (after midnight), and Michael had a plate of ham and cheese waiting for us - and some drinks. The hotel also provided skipasses, we got them the next morning. Breakfast is good with a variety of cheeses, hams, fruit, cereal, bread and eggs of your choice. The staff in the breakfast room are super friendly and efficient. You can eat dinner at the hotel or go to one of the restaurants on the main street. We had a few friends staying at an other hotel, and Michael offered to make fondue for us in the Jagerstube. Absolutely wonderful :) Location is perfect, just a 3 min walk downhill to the ski lifts. The beds are a bit hard to my liking, but next time I will bring my own pillow - problem solved! I will be back for christmas :)
