This is our second time at the hotel and we would be happy to come again. The hotel offers a wonderful vacation with an attentive staff that pays attention to the smallest details and responds to every request. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the food is of high quality and very tasty, with options for vegan and vegetarian manus. The spa and relaxation area are delightful and the nearby forest makes for wonderful walks. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

My daughter and I stayed for four nights and five days, and it was superb! - I would go back in a flash. When we first arrived, we were surprised that it was not as remote as we had anticipated, as there is a big campsite next door, but that didn't detract from our stay. Although the price was quite high for us, we got sooo much for the money. The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating, the food was superb, and although it doesn't say you get lunch, they do serve afternoon snacks from 1-,4 which is effectively lunch ( salad bar, soup, cake), evening meal was lovely and so was breakfast - with lots of choice and high quality. The rooms, spa, and relaxation areas were all really, really good, and the area is stunningly beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place

We wanted to get the last bit of snow for the season and add a little luxurious break in the process. We surely did! Everything was so perfect, from the services to the food, the rooms....and the amazing dessert buffet on Saturday night. Lots of activities within walking distance of the hotel especially hikes and the lovely Acqua dome. The ski slopes are a few minutes away too withe different slopes for all abilities.

We have been here several times over the years and keep coming back. It's a little off the well beaten track for those living in the western US, which is probably one of the reasons we like it so much. The Auer famly continue to do an amazing job offering great personal attention, immaculate housekeeping, a superb spa a comfortable bar and an excellent dining experience. They take great and justifiable pride in their hotel. Wonderful hiking and many other activities are nearby if one is so inclined. Or you can just relax, steam, sauna, swim or do nothing and recline in your robe in the relaxation room. The views are wonderful. We have always come back from our visits to Langefeld feeling reinvigorated and refreshed. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, great food, great staff. Despite this, we won't be coming back because the junior chef is so ignorant that he can't be beaten. We won't put up with that. It's a shame, we're not wine drinkers.

Excellent welcome and friendly and professional staff. The strong point of the hotel is the cuisine. The chef Lukas is fantastic. Gastronomy every evening. On the other hand, the pastries are set back and lack pep and taste, especially for the mousses. And the room is not well insulated from the ceiling. You can hear people walking. And on the terraces of the rooms, you can hear the children from the campsite opposite shouting all day long. But overall I recommend this hotel

For our 7th anniversary we have chosen the unique Waldklause again, for the 3rd time. And rightly so, a big compliment to the whole team. A really successful, relaxing stay, great ambience, unique decoration by the boss. We enjoyed the Spa Deluxe Suite, that was really great. Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. And the food was really top notch. The selection was of the finest quality and very tasty as always. We will be back. Andi and Franca

Possibly the best hotel stay we’ve had in terms of relaxation and food. Out of this world. The meals are amazing. Incredibly comfortable rooms and beautiful spaces throughout the hotel which has been cleverly designed and thought through. The spa and pool was a massive hit for my wife and daughter. The gym was fine but could do with a proper cable machine rather than one multi gym machine. The yoga classes etc were excellent. We had a fabulous time here and will definitely return again.
