I planned 7 day snowboarding trip at Sölden which is recently added under EpicPass. That’s why I picked this town and looked for hotel that be very close to Gondola, has covered parking (for rental car) and spacious rooms.
I booked Junior Suit room. Very spacious room, very modern looking, … and reasonably priced.
Hotel has daily breakfast offered, has light board serving 3 to 4pm, and offered 3 course meal dinner everyday by chef selection, that turned out to be fantastic every night.
It has decent bar with limited selection of cocktails, but does the job.
Ski Locker room is outside and very clean and convenient. The spa and pools are at 4th floor, with a gym and a quiet relaxation room.
Majorly of staff are kind and professional and enjoyed interaction with almost all of them.
Our dinner experience became very wonderful with super helpful and kind personality of our table waitress and barista.
And kudos to the chef and his/her creativity.
Now my two comments, for which could made our experience even better:
1. The lowest degree you can set on room thermostat is 19C. And for some reason, even for low temperature setting, the room became too hot and was difficult to have comfortable sleep. I don’t know where the heat was coming from (there is no vent) and no baseboards, etc. I had to wake up frequently and open the window for fresh cold air to come in, but there is also Fire On Ice music club across the street (closes 3am) and having window open, allow loud noises reach inside.
In addition, our king bed wooden platform also was not setup well either.
2. The front desk staff (one of them, I don’t want to call names) has zero knowledge about concierge info. Meaning, whenever we asked about local interests or places and recommendations, she was telling us she doesn’t know or every-time I need some help, she told us to read books or search online ourselves, which defies the purpose of concierge. Everyone can google!!! But local internal info is a plus information which hotel front desk crew should be trained of or at least dare to share.
If I ever visit Sölden again for skiing, I most likely stay at Liebe Sonne. For same reason mentioned earlier above. I wish for better snowfall. For us, we had 7 dry days.
The staff are very friendly. The food during breakfast and dinner is amazing. High verity. Room are very comfortable. Defenatly I will come back.

Good size room, maybe a bit basic in terms of decoration - ski chalet style I guess. But clean, and also modern bathroom.

Only minus point - insufficient ventilation in the restaurant - your clothes will smell of cooking after dinner.
Very good swimming area, the best was the relaxing room with the view of the slopes.
My suggestion to improve, or what I think was not good:
In the room the beds were very loud, even under the kids, they should be changed together with the pillows. Street front rooms are very noisy because of the nightlife, don't choose that with kids.
The ski storage is not big enough for 4 sets, we were suffering every time to try to fit them in that small place...
