We had a nice stay in hotel Sportalm. Furniture in the room was a bit old but everything was functional. Bed could be more comfortable including quality of pillows. Staff in the hotel was very helpful and pleasant, always working with a smile.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel felt like home—only better, with all the pampering and none of the stress! Nestled just a short walk from the ski slopes, it’s the perfect spot for a seamless ski getaway.

What truly sets this place apart is the heart and warmth of the hosts. We were celebrating a birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special, even helping with a surprise and arranging beautiful flowers. Their hospitality made all the difference, turning a great trip into an unforgettable one.

The rooms were cleaned to perfection every single day, and the adults-only atmosphere made for a wonderfully peaceful retreat. The restaurant is on another level—fresh, high-quality ingredients, a fantastic wine selection, and cocktails that were simply top-notch.

Every second spent here was a joy, and we can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a hotel that truly cares and offers great value for your money, this is the one.

Visited this Hotel in December 2024 / January 2025. Overall - We did a lot of research looking for a place to stay for 11 nights over Christmas and New Year. We had a great time in a really good atmosphere, just what we were looking for. People - The hosts Jessica and Kevin could not do enough to make our stay memorable. Both Christmas and New Year, fantastic efforts were made to make sure the guests had a enjoyable time, gatherings in the lounge area with drinks and light bites followed by dinner, the team produced a feast for Christmas and excellent 7 course meal on New Years Eve. Throughout our stay Jessica proved to be a star time and time again, delivering with an attitude that says " nothing is too much trouble" making us laugh, helping us with the area and what was available to see and do. This place has a real family atmosphere and we were made very welcome. Place- This is a very friendly place to stay it allows guests to bring their dogs which adds to the home from home feeling that you find on arrival. It has a nice bar / lounge area to relax and socialize in, good access to the main area of the town and close to the Ski lift and Thermal Spa. Rooms are clean with balconies or terrace quieter at the back of the Hotel, views of the mountains to the front. The showers in the rooms worked really well, a must for Hotels in my view. Would certainly return without hesitation, thank you for making our trip such great fun Jessica and Kevin.

Our room was spacious, offering plenty of space and a lovely terrace. However, it lacked a mountain view, which was a bit of a disappointment. Additionally, the room could have benefited from better lighting, as it felt quite dark at times.
The owners were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions, adding a personal touch to our stay. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.
Overall, Hotel Sportalm offers a warm and welcoming experience with great amenities, though a few minor improvements could enhance the comfort. It's a great choice for those looking to enjoy the natural surroundings of Bad Kleinkirchheim.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! We staying for two nights in June and wish it was two weeks! Perfect location to relax and rewind with all the amenities you need to enjoy. Everything from food, to service, to decor was flawless. Super clean and comfortable bedroom, moreish breakfast with delicious fresh, local products, with warm and welcoming service. Felt like home. Can’t wait to be back one day!

Super cozy hotel with a relaxing and homey atmosphere. Spacious rooms, friendly and attentive staff as well as a small but very well selected breakfast. Located perfectly and in my opinion just the best place to have yourself an Aperol Spritz!
