We had a very nice prolonged weekend in the Balance hotel. Staff very fiendly, professional. Rooms spacous, great breakfast - loved salmon and prosecco, which brings all the experience on the higher level. Spa is amazing, big with nice pools (one with seawater). Sauna section is huge with great saunas, views. We will definetely return, as we booked already another stay. Highly recommended!

The front desk person Peter was incredible. Very accommodating, always smiling and interactive with us. When a timing mistake for transportation was made to get to the Rammstein concert Peter quickly solved the issue. Made us feel welcomed

We felt very comfortable at the Flairhotel am Wörthersee. The room was clean and with a beautiful view of the lake. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The hotel do have a beautifull lake vieuw and have there own beachside. The owners are very friendly and taking good care of there guests. Amazing family hotel with great atmosphere and style.

Like every year in July we again spent our holiday at the Flair Hotel at the beautiful Wörthersee. The Hotel has large and comfortable rooms, yet is a small and quiet Hotel where you can really relax and enjoy breakfast, lunch, coffee, dinner.....looking at the stunning lake. The friendly staff will also know you by name after some days and you are not number xyz, like in the large Hotel complexes...

We had a 5-room apartment in the annex, very clean and modernly furnished, with 4 double bedrooms and a large eat-in kitchen, a fully equipped kitchenette, a large dining table, and TVs in all rooms. It’s a hidden gem in Austria with superb location. The food and the service is excellent. It s really a place to relax, they have wellness, sauna, table tennis, swimmingpool, bowling etc. Ski slopes are just few steps away and you have also amazing view from the room.

Ok overnight in Klagenfurt Ok quick overnight, relatively handy for the railway station but a bit of a way out of town.

We got locked out of our room on the first night, after going out for dinner. As the reception shuts at 8pm, we rung the emergency number on the card, which went to voice mail. We left two messages, to date no one has returned our call, and so we slept on the sofas in the reception! No apology, and after persistence, I got my money back for the night. The hotel needs to review its out of hours procedure...

Nothing fancy but convenient and close to the station

Great location near the train station. Ample parking if you need to park a car. Housekeeping kept the room clean daily. Bed was too soft, not good for my back. Aircon didn’t work properly when I was there.

The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Location is great, breakfast is good. The pool is much smaller than in the pictures and generally crowded with people. Rooms do not have refrigerators nor air conditioner, which is a challenge during summer months. The service is great and people are very kind and hospitable.

No mini fridge ( it’s hot outside and everyone needs a cold water or something), no air conditioner. The room was stuffy and when the window was opened, it became a good way for mosquitoes to fly inside. The hotel manager was constantly loudly scolding the staff in front of the guests, apparently she thought it looked cool, but in reality it was terrible. The cleaning staff looked hunted and scared...

Rooms were very clean. Service was impeccable and hospitable. We dined at the restaurants diner. The food was really really good 🥰 would definitely recommend to try it at least once if you pass by or stay at the hotel or the area.

Also, the prices in Marche restaurant being part of the hotel are becoming prohibitive. Eeech.... Very strange to have an Autobahn Reststop/Hotel.. Had to wait at reception while she checked out someone for gum and cigs next counter over. Note: the 2 Restaurants advertised are a BurgerKing and an Autobahn Buffet, where food sits under a heat lamp for hours... If you have a choice ... Go somewhere else.

The rooms are themed and quirky but are quite dated now. They are clean, just dated. The lift broke down and we were on the third floor with suit cases. The location is great as it is right in the middle of things.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Bicycle storage with charging available that gets locked at night. Breakfast was nice, they made us omelettes in addition to the food that was available. Now the rooms.. I can get behind the “experience”. But it was just a bit run down. The floor was scratched up. The rugs were worn. It felt like the room needs a bit of love. The hotel is old, but it's brightened up by all the antique and recognizable period features, such as a train carriage and a phone booth. The room was clean, tidy, and well-maintained. My only complaint is the Wi-Fi, where streaming programs constantly buffered or simply stopped.

Interesting place. Comfortable, but would not likely book again. Ceiling lights in the bathroom had dead bugs, and decorations were eclectic, but ok. I would say that hotel St. Oswald is perfect place for people who are looking for calm and peaceful place. The advantage is that the nearest cable car is only 10 minutes by walk. And then you can walk as long as you want. We also played tennis within the hotel, small disadvantage was that tennis rackets have only Junior size, and balls were quite soft with different bounce. Nice room and very friendly host and staff. The breakfast was the best we had on all of our trip this summer. The only little thing we weren't happy with was the parking. Due to no free parking we had tompay for public parking. But besides that no complaints.

It's a nice Hotel Garni but the price for a bed and breakfast is much too high. Around 200 euro/room and no pool, no bike or any other service is a rip off!

This is a nice 3 star hotel. It is right across from the University and a short walk to the Worthersee. So, if that is the purpose of your visit, you can't do much better. Getting there was pretty easy. It is a ten or so minute walk to the Klagenfurt West Bahnhof. There is a bus stop across the street and another one about a 5 minute walk. I always used the later stop and it went directly to the city...

There are some free-of-charge white-striped parking slots in the neighborhood. Avoid "Privat". The two-floor big terrace is open just for breakfasts 7:00 - 10:00. Air conditioning and vending machines are available in the hall. On the last floor you may reach with the elevator there are two open air small terraces.

No air conditioning, no minibar in rooms, and only a tiny parking with "bookings" not advertised beforehand (which became a real problem). Otherwise, the rooms are fine.

The hotel has a perfect location just by the Wörthersee with private well equipped beach access. You can have a view to the lake and the mountains from your balcony or the hotel teracce. The hosts are very kind and welcoming and you got everything to enjoy your holidays. The hotel breakfast is really various and delicious and you can have a nice dinner in several restaurants around the lake.
