Convenient location in the old town, nice rooms and good breakfast.

Lovely traditional hotel in a great location. I recommend the suite rooms, very spacious and comfortable. Excellent shower in the bathroom, good breakfast. Shame we didn’t have time to use the sauna, but we did watch a film at the cinema, which was very cool!

Our hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the old city and Christmas market. Our rooms were just what we needed, clean, comfortable and quiet. We were served a lovely, hot breakfast as well.
Unfortunately, our luggage did not arrive when we did. Simon, the desk manager did everything possible to help us expedite our luggage arrival. He went far beyond what one might hope for in the way of assistance.
I would not hesitate recommending this hotel and hope to return here at a later date.

Nice, clean, 800 years old hotel in the centre of Salzburg, with parking and view of the Salzburg Castle.

PRO:
- a few meters from dompatz and Residenzplatz (the two main Christmas market spots)
- nice bathtub in suite
- heating works wonders
CONS:
- most of the staff doesn’t speak English
- the rooms are very very old and decadent
- the daily cleaning is not done with precision
- there are no services you find in a 4 star hotel (luggage to your room , good minibar , 24/7 staff, attention to details).
- the mattress is so thin you can feel the wooden frame of the bed
- the shower drain doesn’t work

Situated in the old town of Strazburg, the Hotel Kasererbrau was walking distance to many interesting historical sites. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The front desk staff was polite and friendly. This is the perfect place to stay while exploring Strazburg.

Really poor hotel lacking in service, quality, amenities, and location.
It does not look good inside nor outside.
The front desk is completely unable to help. The hotel manager is on vacation and has not designated anyone to be able to take over his duties in his absence, which leaves us without any options.
We simply requested to be refunded our money upon arrival due to our immediate disappointment with the hotel. They were unable to offer us any assistance. That is simply unacceptable.
Additionally the rooms are small, have no air conditioning, no view aside from another building one meter away. All for a hefty price.
I really recommend you stay elsewhere.

There is no air conditioning in the room. The temperature outside is around 30 degrees. I woke up from the heat at night. There is a fan in the hotel that is too loud and cannot be turned on! There is no refrigerator or slippers in the room! The most expensive hotel in Europe and the worst experience

It was a clean hotel. It's close to the station and you can shop until late.
