I had a very greatful stay and warm welcoming from all the staff , they help me with tips and my breakfast. and the location is on point very close to alot of tourist spots. 100% will stay again if I come back there.

Located right in the city center, Gasthof Goldener Adler already impresses with its historic atmosphere from the outside. We were initially drawn in by its old-town charm, but the dining experience ended up exceeding our expectations.
My partner and I wanted to enjoy a full meal from appetizer to dessert, but to avoid wasting food, we ordered just one appetizer to share. To our surprise, the staff thoughtfully served it already divided into two plates, with beautiful presentation on each — a small but meaningful gesture that immediately made us feel well taken care of.
The food itself was solid, authentic, and deeply rooted in traditional local flavors. Nothing felt overdone, yet you could truly taste the care and craftsmanship behind the dishes.
If you enjoy discovering genuine local cuisine while traveling, this restaurant is absolutely worth a visit.

Restaurant Goldener Adler in Innsbruck is a great place to eat. The food is delicious, especially the Viennese schnitzel, which is very flavorful and cooked perfectly.
The beer and drinks are also very good. The staff is super friendly and happy to give recommendations.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was so good that we ended up coming back twice during our 4-day holiday. The staff were genuinely lovely and made us feel welcome every time.
The schnitzel was amazing, the steak was very good, and the carpaccio was delicious. But the star of the show was the apple strudel — honestly the best one we’ve ever had!
Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food, warm service, and a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

I visited Restaurant Goldener Adler in Innsbruck with my family, including my two children.
We loved the cozy atmosphere and beautiful old architecture of the building. The food was very good, and I especially enjoyed the Wiener Schnitzel. Unlike many nearby restaurants that are mostly for tourists, this place feels more genuine and serves proper, authentic Austrian food. Good wine too. Our waiter helped us choose the right wine to go with our meal, which made the experience even better.
The service was friendly, and made us feel welcome. It was a great place to eat after exploring nearby sights.

Fabulous place for a meal! They have English menus and the waitress was so nice. Food is delicious and fair portion. They have outdoor seating and a second floor dining room that overlooks the crowds in front of Golden Roof. Highly recommend giving this place a try - prices are very fair and they have a great selection of traditional Austrian foods to choose from. Great experience!

Absolutely the BEST meal we have had yet. The hash browns (rosti ♥️) were probably the best thing I’ve ever eaten. The service is outstanding and friendly. You couldn’t possibly be disappointed eating here.

Restaurant was excellent. Well cooked meat, tasty dressing on salads, friendly service. We ordered Schnitzel and Happ Spezial (photos) and both were delicious. Prices a bit expensive, but portions are big, so... alles gut!
