It's not a four-star hotel. The room is large, but the carpet is dirty and there are stains on the walls. There's a large step up to the bathroom. Historical hotel in the center of the historical city.
The weak point is not having an elevator, which is a little problematic for the elderly
Big suites - almost like apartments with separate living room and bed room - with balcony with a view of the Flame Towers.
Mini fridge and electric kettle comes in handy for cold beer on the balcony at night and hot coffee in bed in the morning.
Not a bad place! I was there this summer. It's located inside the old town, the prices are reasonable, the staff is helpful, the architecture is stunning, the streets are cosy, there are cafes nearby, a currency exchange office, and the main attractions. However, the downsides include the old, shabby renovations and the lack of breakfast, but they're working on it; half the building is under renovation
It's located in old Baku, right in the center, near the Maiden Tower. It's quiet, beautiful, with a sea view and friendly staff! However, it's best to avoid it in winter, as there's no heating and the room gets very cold.

Bulag recreation center was a nice place to stay with a quiet family, the purpose of choosing it was to be close to both the sea and the pool and the forest. Pretty nice place. Near the forest, the sea. Swimming pools, playgrounds, exercise equipment, there is even a billiard and tennis table. The room is generally well maintained, but there were quite a few inconveniences with water, doors and lights. The service is good, but obviously they can't cope with the large influx of people.
We stayed for one day. Prices were normal. We paid 90azn for a 2-bedroom room including breakfast. Breakfast was good. There are 3 swimming pools. The pool was normal. Good for relaxation. It is in the mesa. Usak entertainment is enough. Single rooms are old standard. Maybe we were late, so they gave us the rate in the back. Maybe other numbers were better. We did not like the single norm. Imagination...

Kichik Gala Hotel is very beautiful place. It has a convenient location and is easy to find in this labyrinth of streets of the old city. The hotel has cozy and spacious rooms, clean and tidy everywhere. The staff is responsive and will help solve any of your problems. The prices are low and the breakfast is very tasty. Good views from the balcony. Within walking distance to the walled old town. Markets(Spar and Bravo) are a block or two away.
More of hotel apartment concept and not an actual hotel. The location is very good. Do carry cash for payment.
The place is on a up hill road, not advisable for elderly people.

Great place and convenient location. Rooms are neat and clean. The lady agent working there trys to help out so is the owner. Didn't meet him but spoke over the phone as he knew better English.
This is not a full scale hotel. Its an apartment converted into a hotel. We had booked Room 8 which came with a sit out. Views are magnificent! Room size is big and bathroom is huge. Located centrally walking distance to Old City. So no issues there really.
Downsides are:
1. Repetitive and very basic breakfast. Nothing for vegetarians.
2. No legal parking/halting for cabs or pick up buses.
3. Not disable...
I've been visiting Baku for the first time and with Baku Sea View Hotel I couldn't have chosen a better base to start and end our everyday's adventures.
It is a nice place uphill with the most amazing view over the city.
The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything one needs, while the offered breakfast prepares you for the day.
You'll find severel supermarkets just around the corner and moreover...
The hotel is very nice. Clean rooom including the bathroom and very friendly staff. It is located very near to the flame tower, old town and nezami street. Very recommended for short staying in Baku.
I advise you to settle only in rooms on the 4th floor with a sea view. Minus big, smoking in all rooms. and the smell of cigarettes makes itself felt. In some rooms, you may stumble upon mold. service for 3, cleanliness for 2, furniture for 3. Overall impression of 3
A good hotel and a very excellent location. You don't need a taxi to get to Nizami Street or to the sea. They are all very close. You can walk and enjoy the places. I thank Fouad for his kind reception to us.

Very good bed and renovated room (though not as nice as in the pictures shown).
Only 3 stars instead of 4 as the bathroom was very mouldy and the odor was really bad (you could see the fungi on the bathroom wall and it wasn’t cleaned well)
the hotel is a perfect position, just near the icherisher metro station and in the heart of the old city if you are in baku for tourism this is the perfect place to stay.
staff is super friendly and cleanliness is good.
however, there are some drawbacks such as the bathroom (should be renewed...), there are almost no lights in the room and the chair is too high to be sitted on the table.

Everything is just awesome about this small boutique hotel. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Since it’s a small hotel, they can easily attend to your concerns. They also serve a decent set of English breakfast. The room is very calm and peaceful. This is only hotel bed which I was able to sleep very nicely. Like how I wish I can take that with me to Dubai.

Clean, comfortable and well located hotel. Central, but quiet. Female receptionist is a gem, male one is less so and breakfast lady is constantly having had mornings, so very mixed service. Internet is patchy. But overall, a restful stay.

Good price for a perfect location. The staff is friendly and helpful although their English is not good. Don't expect too much of the standard rooms, they are clean but small and a bit worn out. The rooms are noisy: we were unlucky with the snoring guest in the room next to ours and the loud television of the night receptionist. The beds are not comfortable, having a thin mattress.
This hotel is located in the heart of old city. The most important thing is that hotel design and comfort are good and staff are very helpfull and always ready to solve any little misunderstanding with theirs polite, thanks guys for my best 3 days of my guests with you
