Respublika Hotel in Baku

Going by the amount of information I could find on the Internet, I was not expecting much from this hotel. But it was surprisingly nice actually. Big rooms, including a kettle and fridge, fairly recently renovated. The beds had memory mattresses and what felt like ergonomic pillows. Breakfast is on the top floor with a superb view of the caspian sea. The breakfast was ok, but on the second morning my pancakes tasted strongly of mould. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful, even serving you at the self-service buffet. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the old town or the sea front. Overall, not a bad place to stay.

I like it. the place is fine at all. nice behave staff and good atmosphere. but more than anything I like the scenery you have out of your trace and windows. spectacular Caspian sea and the hills of the city are good vision for an evening.

very nice hotel

Very friendly staff, great room, king size bed, nice interior, there is a work area, stable internet. Downstairs there is a sauna with a small pool. The hotel is located in the heart of the city.
