Third time in the YUP hotel. The first two times were a wonderful experience, sadly the third one was rather disappointing. Got a pretty small room on the fourth floor, no big deal, only that the toilet/shower had no door. The worst part of the visit was the air-conditioning in the room. Not sure why, but the hotel blocks you from changing any settings regarding the airco, so it was rather breezy in the room, besides that the airco was making an annoying buzzing noise with no way to turn it off considering the hotel blocks you from turning the airco off. Looking to come back, but I really hope these issues will be solved in the future.

The room is not soundproof and very small. breakfast was OK. For this cost could be better.

Love this hotel so much, staff is amazing, they are compassionate and do everything in their power to help you , rooms are nice it’s beautiful . I would stay here everytime. I wish I could give them a thousand stars !!!

Clean room, staff reception were polite and friendly, coffee machine in room was a bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Little hotel, rooms well air conditioned so good on a hot day. Room was tidy and clean, although noticeably dusty on the surfaces on shelving so that could do with a more in depth clean in that respect bar area clean and tidy, nice staff who spoke good English. Was a nice overnight stay. Will stay again.

The only issue I have is their parking. They have none. Good luck finding a spot on any street within a hundred yards. I ended up at a paid lot "Astrid", about 10 to 15 minute walk. If you have mobility issues, this might give you second thoughts. Other than that, it was clean, well appointed, decent breakfast. Oh, and they only take plastic. Staff was very friendly.

Yup hotel is situated in the city centre of Hasselt. Was here with my German and UK and Spanish colleagues. Nice how the architecture of the rooms was handled, all comfort placed in a narrow room. Special thanks to Erica, the friendliest receptionist. She helped me out with a lot questions.
Tip: use the blauwe boulevard carpark, only 10 euro per day and only 5 min walk.

The second room had a broken toilet with running water. The receptionist was almost pissed that I kept asking for a changing. They should be the first to apologize and try to make up for the disservice. Other people had the same problems..
The third room was “ready”, although it was full of dust, it’s incredible, my skin got all red or allergies, which never happened before
They have no idea what they are doing, will never come again
