The room had a few issues. Only 1 power outlet was working out of 3. There was no restocking on items like body wash, coffee, tea, sugar, no ameneties like tooth brush and shaving kit. They have it, but just did not care to restock. I dropped something behind the heating in the shower and it was full of dust, it is easy to reach but they did not clean for a long time. The swimming pool had no towels, so I asjed the front desk for a towel and it took them 30 minutes to provide one. Then on agoda booking it says free parking, but in the hotel they want to charge 19,20. Swimming pool and jacuzzi had 2 safety hazards, the handles to get out are loose. The hotel has a good location. I regret booking this hotel for the price we paid and what we got. I would not recommend this hotel. I had the feeling I was in a Ibis hotel and not van der Valk.

Has a very nice gym (much bigger than ususal), only negative side is that I would have liked the gym to be open longer for hotel guests (closes at 21.00)

I felt like I was sleeping inside a restaurant, and here’s how it goes: If you’re not bothered by the smell of food, you can definitely sleep here.

Great hotel with clean, modern rooms and a beautiful view over the Meuse River. The service was nice and professional, and overall the stay was very pleasant. The only downside was that the check-out process took quite a long time due to a queue building up in the morning. Aside from that, a very good experience and a hotel I’d recommend.

The night Duty reception staf (15/12/25) shall need training about how to meet arriving guest, how to talk with guest and how to check reservations. He doesnt have any idea about hotel management. Need CRM and training. But for sure he has some problems with people, ıf he doesnt want to make this job, than he should not. Because as guest after long travel, we DO NOT want to see this kind of hotel staff on reception check in. He is not a good face for this hotel, for sure…

Hotel is ok with clean and spacious rooms and spa and swimming pool good. The only bad experience was dinner in the restaurant. Service was appalling - we waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. No one came so we had to go up to the waiters to ask them to do it. We then waited another half hour for the food to arrive. The whole meal took about two hours. The waiter didn’t speak any English and when I ordered in French appeared not to understand. Tap water was not available ( the waiter said the water in Belgium is awful but the water in the room seemed fine) so we were charged nearly 7 euros for a half litre of bottled water! Food when it arrived was ok but nothing special. In conclusion hotel fine but avoid the restaurant for dinner!

Strategic location, one kilometer from the central station, one kilometer from the city center, excellent cleanliness of the room, excellent panoramic view, very quiet.

For a business traveller I was surprised and annoyed that:-
- it took one hour to get food at the restaurant.
- the gym only opens at 7am. Why not 24hours like most 4star hotels
- no usb points in the rooms

The best hotel in Liege, right? The hotel is clean and tidy with complete facilities. There is a restaurant downstairs that is always busy. There is a gym in the hotel. Although it is not big, it has all the facilities.
