The room is large, affordable, and very cost-effective. It is close to the city center and the pier, so it is convenient to travel around and visit the old city.

I went to work. When the internet in the room came on the laptop, more than an hour after it was installed, it didn't allow minimum browsing. In the morning, I did the video conference from my cell phone on 4G.

Excellent option, super organized, attentive staff and location close to shops and restaurants.

I arrived late at the hotel and there was no soap, I had to wait a considerable time until I got it. The air conditioning is good, but the system is different from what we are used to. The structure of the room itself is very good and the breakfast too. The area has quiet rooms.

Just two criticisms. My room didn't have cable TV. I called reception to complain. They said they would send an IT technician immediately to fix it. I'm still waiting for that technician... Beautiful hotel with a beachfront location. Breakfast was very good, but there was little variety.

A hotel trying to renovate itself. Until you enter the room and are surprised by the dated facilities, which lack maintenance and renovation. Everything else was fine. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The rooms are a bit dated. In my case, we had to request service for the air conditioning system because it was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. The facilities are fine, and the breakfast is basic but comprehensive. Parking is paid separately from your stay.

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for my first time in Rio. I felt extremely safe in the hotel as they take many precautions such as locking the front doors in the evening and night. The staff are very attentive, many times they opened the front door for us and any time we entered or exited a car in front of the hotel, Felipe ran to us to open the car door and load our luggage. The hotel is located on the beach in Copacabana. It's quite old, the rooms are extremely small, there's barely any space for luggage racks, and there's no kettle, shampoo, or shower gel. The only redeeming quality is that the staff are quite friendly.

NIcev hotel on the Ipanema beach, very friendly and helpfull staff and an excelenty breakfast overwiatching beach activitie.

Room was tiny (as expected right here on the beach) but spotless. Most of all, the location is incredible, and the staff incredibly helpful. We had many hours after checking out of our room while waiting the airport, and the staff let us continue to use all the hotel amenities, including the incredible pool and view over Copacabana Beach from the sky deck. Six stars out of five!

Excellent hotel on Ipanema beach. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurant and bar and clean and comfortable rooms. The perfect place to stay in Ipanema.

The location is wonderful, the view is incredible, staff are nice, the only problem is some staff cannot speak English which would be problematic sometimes. In iverall I would highly recommed this hotel to all tourists who want to visitt Rio and prefer to be in safe and nice neighberhood.

A very good hotel for its money. Spacious room. I liked everything. Clean room, bed, white and clean towels. Cleaning every day. Breakfasts are good for such Brazilian hotels.

Good location just one minute walk from Praça Tiradentes in the historic city centre. The hotel is old and needs some refurbishment. WiFi signal was poor. Nice bathroom. The mattresses were old. Considering the cheap price including free breakfast, I would stay there again.

Central location. Good pool and bar. Old building with a lot of renovation being carried out. Higher floors already modernized. Good dinner buffet and fair price. Good breakfast.

Service not very courteous, but efficient. In the apartments, only bath towels are provided... face towels are not provided.

The 80cm bed was so small I almost rolled off.

Room was very small. Breakfast average. Reception staff quite friendly.

The room had a fantastic view, directly facing the beach. The hotel offers beach services, providing complimentary lounge chairs and parasols. The front desk staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, making communication easy. Overall, I was very satisfied!

I really liked the location and service, especially the doorman Gil, who was very nice and friendly. However, it didn't look like a Novotel at all; I think it's a Barra Regency… initially we thought it was a Novotel.

The hotel as with most hotels in rio is quite run down. The swimming pool area doesn’t look as nice as the pictures and so as the rooms. Reception quite busy at all times.

The hotel staff is friendly, quick to help if needed, several people at the reception speak English. The food in the restaurant is normal, but small portions and nothing special to taste. Excellent service at Novotel Barra da Tijuca. Collaborator Erica welcomed us with treats for my birthday, making our visit to Rio de Janeiro even more special. The hotel is complete, with a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset from the pool area and services such as chairs and beach umbrellas available to guests. I highly recommend it.
