Would not book here. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are extremely dated and unkept. Mould, scuffs, damage everywhere. Air conditioning unit was broken in our room, the heat was unbearable. Explained this to reception who laughed in my face and said we’re all warm. I asked if they had any plug in fans available and again, laughed in my face. I was told the maintenance worker goes home at 4pm and nothing they could do. Bed sheets and towels were not replaced during our 8 day stay, they actual had a sharpie marker date of 11.11.25 on them. Location is fine. No food or drink served after 3pm, no snack bar as advertised. Pool is only big enough for 1 family. There was 8 of us in a group staying here, arrived to the pool area and there was 2 pool loungers, an unmanned bar - that says to ring for a drink, but when you ring the bar closes at 3pm. They advertise a laundry service and there’s laundry bags in the room, when asked for a price list and more information I was told that the maid “doesn’t come anymore” ?

Great experience! The hotel staff was always attentive. 100% reception service. Excellent cleanliness, both in the room and common areas! Everything that needed to be resolved was resolved! I extended my stay for another 3 days without any problems. The breakfast needs more variety in the food offered, it's always the same items, this could be improved! Clean rooms, nice pool, rooftop smoking area and elevators always working! I will return if I need to be in Copacabana!!!

We stayed for 4 nights and the room was really dated and definitely not a 4-star hotel. Our room window cannot be closed fully with a big gap. Traffic noise was unbearable and we couldn’t sleep well. Our beds were not made though towels have been replaced. The only good thing about this hotel is its location and the shower is powerful.

One bearded bald tough guy thought it was appropriate to yell at us multiple times about guests, yet after I cleared everything with the front desk he continued being rude. This is not a 4-star hotel. The towels are paper thin and the air conditioning leaks water all over the night stands and beds.

The staff are very friendly. The hotel itself is comfortable, but the double bed is made up of two small mattresses, so when sleeping, they separate, creating a hole. The street is very noisy. The hotel is nice inside, but the street is very dirty, smells bad, and is full of homeless people.
The breakfast was the same every day, but delicious.
The room was impeccably clean.
The pool is small, but it does its job.
The air conditioning is excellent.
Very close to the beach.

Clean , friendly and great location. Breakfast was kind of bad. All i could eat was scrambled egg and fruits. Sausage was too salty or something like that.

I have a wonderful story about this place and its awesome staff. I stayed in an apartment above this cafe and frequented this place for coffee, acai, smoothies, and other snacks while on a 10-day stay in Rio. I got to know the staff, and they were always friendly, but they proved to be almost-saintlike one afternoon when I had a really scary experience.....upon coming back to the apartment that day, I reached inot my pocket and discovered my wallet was missing (with my cash, ATM card, drivers license, etc.) I didn't know if I had been pick-pocketed or if it had fallen out during one of my excursions. Luckily I had left a back up credit card and my original passport in the apartment, but I was still mortified.

While I started calling my bank in the USA, I got a knock on my apartment door. It was one of the guys from the cafe. He found my wallet on the sidewalk while he was sweeping. It had fallen out of my pocket while sitting at the counter. He asked the building's doorman which apartment was mine, and he brought it up to me (cash and everything). I was ecstatic!!!!! Of course, I gave him every bit of cash I had, and generously tipped the guys working there every time I saw them for the rest of my stay. What wonderful people!

People say Rio is dangerous, and you do need to look out for yourself while there, but this place is proof that many Cariocas are just the best people in the world. BTW, the acai here is great.
