Majestic Rio Palace Hotel in Rio De Janeiro

Nice and kind service. I would definitely recommend this hotel if some asks.

Our experience was so-so. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. We were assigned an old room with a noisy air conditioner and an uncomfortable bed.

From 9 AM onwards, the floor above us sounded like it was being 'demolished' by a jackhammer or something similar; the noise was so unbearable it felt like it was inside our room. We had to leave. It even seemed like the bathroom floor above was crumbling, as concrete was falling into our bathroom (photos attached). We requested a room change, but the receptionist wasn't very accommodating and didn't even let me explain the situation, though he eventually processed the change.

We were moved to a different room, four floors below the previous one. This room was new, modern, and completely renovated.

In my opinion, the hotel management should close off floors near the renovation areas because the noise is EXTREMELY disruptive to guests who are there to relax.

The elevators are tiny, only fitting four people. During peak times (like breakfast), it's a real struggle to get downstairs; you have to wait a long time for an empty one.

The website photos showcase the new rooms, but they often put you in the old ones.

Positives: The breakfast is perfect, with a wide variety and constant replenishment. The restaurant staff are very polite and attentive.

The NEW rooms are very good and comfortable.

I would return, but only if I could stay in a new room, FAR AWAY from the renovation noise.

Bom hotel

A good hotel in the center of the Copacabana district. Nearby are cafes, shops, and bus stops, providing easy access to the Botanical Garden and Corcovado. The breakfast is very good (omelettes, sausages, bacon, ham, cheese, lots of sweets and fruit). It's a 30-minute taxi ride from Galeão Airport.

Everything was very nice. Cleanliness, service, breakfast.
I do object to the bed frame. It's very noisy, soft, and uncomfortable.
And also the noise from adjacent rooms. You can hear everything.

It's a great chouse for journey. The rooms is clear, Copacabana beach in 10 min walking.

We really enjoyed our stay.
The room was very clean.
Very good location.
Very polite staff.
Very varied breakfast.
