Th location is good and reception staff were friendly but the hotel is very dated and in desperate need of renovation. The breakfast also needs improvement not in variety but quality of food. Facilities like the gym are also not great. The cleaning staff came while I was in the room but rather than come back later, they said they couldn’t as they would go to other floors so just took the rubbish and did not clean the room.

So overall, it’s okay but not up to the standard of a Mercure Hotel in France or Europe.

It was my second stay in this hotel in 2025. The facility of the hotel is aging, however the hospitality of the staff totally made up for it. Throughout my stay I felt I was warmly welcomed and nicely treated, all my requests were satisfied.
I will definitely stay at the same hotel when I return to Sao Paulo in 2026

This is a decent place to stay if you’re not expecting any frills. The bed linens and towels were a bit worn, and amenities were nearly nonexistent—just a bar of soap. On the plus side, the rooms were quite spacious. However, considering the limited comforts and lack of amenities, the price felt a bit steep for the overall experience.

It has been a true joy staying at Mercure São Paulo Paulista. The staff was cordial and absolutely very efficient and agile, which made my check-in experience even better. The accommodation was adequate and absolutely comfortable.

A well-located hotel for either business or pleasure in the centre of São Paulo. Great breakfast, friendly engaged service, super clean rooms and public areas. However, the WiFi speed and reliability could be better.

The service is by far the best thing about our stay. The staff are helpful and informative, as well as attentive and communicative. The only thing that stood out was the logistics of maintaining the rooms. Two days in a row were marked by the need for cleaning in the absence of guests. As a suggestion, it would be a good idea to have air fresheners in the bathroom and two office chairs in the room in case of small meetings, co-working or smaller meals for two. It should also be added that the bathroom could have warmer, indirect lighting for small movements, in addition to the makeup light that already exists. I recommend staying at this hotel.

No toothbrush or toothpaste was given. I asked for two sets and was given one set. Breakfasts in Brazilian hotels are terrible, only bread and flimsy cakes. The room is not big, so you can make do with it, but the city center is said to be a bit dangerous and the security is not very good.

Rascal never disappoints you. Today I had mainly salads and just a little bit of pasta and I am so full and happy. This place is amazing. Their ceviche, cheeses and parma hams are so good you don't meed to eat anything else. But if you dare to try their pasta you will simply fall in love! Love this place.
