Family Hotel Arkan HAN in Trigrad

I have very mixed feelings about Arkan Han. The location is absolutely stunning and the hotel itself is beautiful — built in a traditional Bulgarian style, it truly reflects the charm of Trigrad. The village is magical, and we were excited to return here with friends.

Unfortunately, our experience was deeply tainted by the behavior of the management. We booked four apartments and were shocked by how rudely we were treated by the manager, Hristo, and his wife. Hristo spoke to us not like we were guests, but in a condescending, almost aggressive way — as if we owed him something. He used phrases like “When you speak to me, look me in the eyes,” which is simply unacceptable and unprofessional. We felt disrespected and uncomfortable throughout our stay.

What’s most upsetting is that I had my wedding at this hotel 9 years ago and used to have fond memories of the place. Now, I regret ever having chosen it. It's heartbreaking to see how poor the management has become. We will never return to this hotel — not because of the location, which we love, but because of the toxic attitude of the people running it.
