Where to stay in Veliko Tarnovo

The hotel's cleanliness and environment were acceptable, but the charging outlets were rather old. However, the location was good; it's very close to the Tsar's Castle, just a few minutes' walk away.

A very satisfying stay. The environment and service were impeccable. The castle and old town were just a five-minute walk away. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. This hotel deserves high praise!

A beautiful hotel near the main castle. Nice and comfy rooms with nice decoration. Everything was really good. The breakfast was nice and the view from the room is really beautiful. Ideal for families as well in a really quiet location. I will return for sure

The place is quite neat and interesting, tough, only two individuals were able to speak English. It is very difficult to interact and to make yourself understand!

The hotel is advertised as 4 stars, but the service and the rooms do not adhere to that standard. It was difficult to get to the hotel when im Arbanasi itself, and the reception was very hard to find once we got there, as there was no staff to ask and no direction where to find it. Been there once. Overall the hotel is very nice. It has a big garden with children's space. Good parking spaces. The room we were in was very spacious and it was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The best thing about the hotel for me is that they allow pets so we traveled with our cat. The breakfast was okay. The host is an extraordinary woman. We booked 1 night through Booking, and when we arrived we decided to stay one more night and we expected her to check us out, but she said "No problem". The first morning we had free breakfast through genius, and the second we expected to pay but it was still free. It is quiet, clean, beautiful surroundings. We are satisfied! Also we was with our dog.

It's placed on the edge of the serpentine road. In the night time Veliko Tarnovo lights up the view, while in the daytime you can see it from an isometric view. The room was nice and spacious. We had the posibility to cook in a large pot in the garden. It was somehow funny, somehow unpleasing that we had a hole in the door.

Amazing place to stay, very affordable and cozy, loved the atmosphere, the location was perfect for tourist activities, the staff was so nice and helpful, everything was very easy and perfect, I have no complains! Loved it and will definitely come back!

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. If going to Sofia or Bucharest, Veliko Tarnovo is a great place to rest. Don’t just stay one night! There is plenty to explore. Brettandbear on all socials approves. The manager is a cat by the way.

Probably one of the best hostels ever not gonna lie. Imagine a big old traditional Bulgarian house in the heart of Turnovo turned into a hostel. Everyone was friendly, the owner is also nice. One little bit of a negative is that the floors and beds are a bit squeaky and they make noise when you move/walk, which is not nice when people are sleeping, but its not really that big of an issue, id go back...
