This is one of the most expensive hotels on Koh Touch beach, and while it may be the best there (we didn't try any others) I would not stay there again. To reach it you must walk through several empty lots full of rubbish, and there is a sawmill right next door which operates from 8am until dark. Beds are large but very hard. The bathrooms do have hot showers, but no hooks at all or any way to hang up a towel or wash bag. The room wasn't cleaned while we were there (3 nights) but that could have been because we couldn't find anyone to give the key to. The staff were friendly and did manage to fix the safe and our friends toilet, but I'd stay on a different beach next time.
Great location, nice simple rooms with locks and decent air conditioning and the owner is chilled and friendly - invited me to have a beer with him and his family before I left. He also travelled down to the pier to give my friend her purse (including passport / money / and cards) which she'd left in her in-room safe!
We chose this hotel because they have a/c which not common on the island. Clean & private room with terrace & a glimpse of the sea. Short walking distance from the pier and plenty of good restaurants near by. The bad part is it's at the top of the hill! Stairs & more stairs not ideal when you have heavy backpacks. I have no problem with the staff just that they don't mind their own business!
It’s a bit pricey compared to the places around the beach. There are places around the area which are half the price of what they charge. No percolator or anything for hot coffee. The place is clean and nice for a few days’ stay. Good working A/C. It’s around 250 meters walk from the ferry pier. Not suitable if you have heavy luggage because it’s uphill and no one is going to help carry your luggage. There’s a construction nearby so sometimes it gets noisy, but it’s tolerable if you are always out exploring the islands.
The rooms are acceptable. They have air-conditioning which is great. But it's a building site, and just when you think you've met the grumpiest, most unhelpful staff every these guys will set a new low bar for you - they ask look miserable and that they'd rather be anywhere else in the world.
Another benefit of this place is at the top of the hill and as (open) sewage flows downhill that's probably an advantage.

Really good food and surprisingly the western dishes are better than the local ones. The BBQ is good value for money and the portions are huge. Cocktails also fair.

The only hot food any of use got was eggs. Everything was cold the beans,bacon and toast. If that's cool with you it's a great value I think 3 dollars

We stayed 3 days on the island and we took or 3 breakfast there! The portion are quite good and everything tastes good. The dishes were well seasoned as well which is quite nice.
Regarding the drinks, coffee was ok, and if they don’t have what you want you can always go in front and bring it to the restaurant, they will allow it :)

Went there first for dinner and had the veggie burrito that was ok but the fried vegetables were quite oily.
Went then for breakfast and the burrito with cheese and eggs was a joke, the cheese was a ball not even melted tossed in the middle… overall not great

Got two decent size bits of chicken in my fried vegetables with rice. Service were familiar with “no meat” in the dish.
