Soksan Natura Beach in Koh Rong Island

It was definitely one of the prettiest beaches I’ve been to! First of all, it’s not that easy to get to the island, the weather/ocean may change your plans easily.
The rooms were quite old and poorly maintained.
The restaurant prices were high enough, especially when they charge you in $$$😅

The room was simple and clean, with air conditioning and hot water. The environment was very natural, and the beach was just a few dozen meters away. The host was very warm and friendly.

I did a motor ride around Koh Rong and stopped for a quick lunch. Service is excellent, restaurant with front sea view, overall food is ok, but pizza is not recommended.

A very laid back and quiet place. It’s located on the most beautiful beach on the island and it’s 20 min drive by bike to the main area and the north beaches. The room was comfortable and breakfast was basic but delicious

A great place and reasonable price with great white sand. Feeling like a private paradise beach. Good service, friendly people, and many activities on the island. I stayed at this resort once or twice a year. 9 out of 10

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights stay at the Soksan Beach Resort on Koh Rong island. The on-the-beach location is really beautiful, the accommodations comfortable and the services professional and very friendly. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a garden chalet suite that made a real difference to our stay. The only drawbacks to the resort are the food and drinks UK prices and the limited menu. Still, the village is a short 6mn walk away …

Beautiful sands beach, nice view, prime location for taking pictures

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and it was wonderful experience.

Reaching this hotel is little difficult. We took ferry from Sihanoukville to Koh Rong (Koh Touch port). Its $25/person round trip. From the port you can take tuk-tuk to Sok San Resort which will cost around $15. Resort is located very far from the port and the roads are very nice and scenic, except fory the first 500mts which is like proper off roading so the price is justified.

Once we reached the Resort we were upgraded to the room with better sea view. The rooms are clean but little old and small. The best thing about the Resort is its located right on the beautiful beach. Staff is helpful if you need any info for further travel plan in cambodia. Food prices at Resort is inflated (almost double of what you will pay at restaurants near koh touch port) but that's the case with nearby resorts as well so that's ok.

The beach at Resort is really clean and beautiful with white sands all around. Can't see fishes but water is transparent and have shades of blue which keeps changing as per weather and sun. Only downside is it has a lot of sand fly so keep a insect repellent handy.

Don't miss the bioluminescence plankton activity, it's an must do thing their. The catch is you should be there when their is no moon to see the plankton clearly otherwise it might be little difficult to see clearly. They either take you to a beach at distance from hotel by car or to the other end of the island via boat. We went by car and the experience was breathtaking.

Overall if you want to spend some quite peaceful time then this is the place you would want to be. Their are no party places near by if you still want to party you may rent a bike ($10/day) and go to Koh Touch Port (far from resort and most part of roads are pitchdark) where you can find some restaurants playing loud music.
