Mettavary Hotel in Phnom Penh

The location of the hotel and the room is very cozy The staff is very nice and helpful with everything I will definitely recommend this place after staying there for a whole month

Thanks to Mettavary Team who offer us the room upgrade to Suite room, the room was amazing. also about the breakfast has Cambodian food & western all are great. friendly and helpful staff, as they helped with my luggage and assist me through this stay.

The receptionist was very welcoming and so excited to help us throughout our stay. Our room was very clean with toiletas well. We enjoyed our stay here. ❤️

Three-night stay, clean room, excellent service, and ideal location. A shame about the noise, as the hotel is close to nightlife, and about the small pool.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, off the busy streets, near some nice clubs and restaurants. Some other reviews talked about the loud nightclub next door, but to me it was just background noise and did not interfere with my sleep at all.

One word of caution: if you have any mobility issues (poor balance, unable to move easily, weak knees), this hotel is NOT for you. The shower is in the (slightly elevated) tub, and you must step up high to get in or out. The tub and floor are quite slippery, and there are NO handholds…if you lose your balance or slip, you will have a very bad fall into the glass shower door! I spoke to the manager about the importance of putting in some rails on the wall and non-slip pads in the tub, and she said I was not the first to make this comment.

Other than this (which does not apply to everyone), it’s a very nice hotel. Be aware that it is down a walking alley, and although tuktuks can drive up to it, the hotel sign is above your head so it’s easy to miss it…in plain sight!

The hotel is going through rebranding.
The location of it could not be better for us, bars and restaurants nearby, we were pleasantly surprised by Valentine’s Day celebrations in the alleys around. Location 10/10
The rooftop pool is there but more for a dip to cool down than for a swim it’s maybe 2.5m by 4m. The pool on the ground floor is a bit bigger.
The room itself was spacious and sunny, I really enjoyed it

Was a lil worried when I was approaching this hotel as it was through narrow roads of a back alley. But upon arrival, check in was smooth, bed was a little too soft for my personal preference, found a dead cockroach beside my bed floor. They offer 15 mins free massage which was refreshing from the long journey. Food was good, try the Fish Amok.

Good price for a fancy hotel right behind Bassac street. Friendly staff spoke English and easily accommodated my requests via message ahead of time. Nice massage inside and 2 pools including a rooftop pool with a bar! It has a 360 degree view. You can hear the live music down in Bassac street. Buffet breakfast was included! Very nice stay here!
