Formerly called Intercontinental Hotel, but it’s name has been changed when there’s a change of ownership. When COVID-19 hit Cambodia in 2020, it was since used as treatment facility for patients with mild symptoms.

The first 5-star hotel in Cambodia as InterContinental Phnom Penh. The hotel hosted mostly dignitaries, celebraties head of states, Royalty, President, etc. It is rebranded as The Great Duke Phnom Penh.

We stayed here last year when it was still the Intercontinental. It's a large hotel a bit dated with a great swimming pool on the 4th floor. Staff was courteous and food was decent and reasonable priced. The only minor con is the location is not as convenient to stay for independent travelers like us since it's a bit far from all the tourists' spots.

Great ambience. No free Wi-Fi, unless you are overnight guests.

1. The receptionists could speak fluent Chinese which is perfect for Chinese-speaking travelers. 2. Breakfast options are super limited. It does not seem to be a five-star hotel to me. 3. The hotel building is relatively new, however the room was a bit run down. Very few TV channels in English. No hair dryer. The hotel location is convenient for those willing to stay close to the airport. There are very few cafes and restaurants around in the area. Commuting downtown takes at least 15-20 minutes by tuk tuk (10 usd).

Everything is good. Tuk-tuks can pick you up at the lobby entrance, which is convenient and free from traffic jams; all service staff are very nice. But except for the toothpaste, it is difficult to use, like a lump of flour, this toothpaste really affects the experience.

The room was not only spacious and comfortable but also thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of a business traveler. This is standard hotel you can find in Phnom Penh city with reasonable price. The room is clean and hygiene. I love the welcome service. They are so friendly. It's now called High Sky Hotel. Very comfortable rooms in a quiet area with great views. Breakfast is good. Price is very good for the facilities. Some negatives. WiFi is not so reliable and only 144Mbps. Location is away from the main tourist spots in the city and costs about USD5-7 by tuk tuk each way to get there.

I have booked the room at the hotel. The price is little bit high, 40 USD for single room (although they converted the double room into single room). The hotel is not really in good location. It takes around 15-30 mins to go to central area and the tuk tuk from hotel are usually high (1-2 usd higher). The breakfast is not really good, only a few dishes.

The building outside looks a bit old but it is Cozy and luxurious inside. It is located on the riverside with nice and fresh view. The service is a bit off which u can tell right away.
