Receptionists are stealing money. Be very carefull here. I came late at the night and they asked me more than 100 usd for night. Room without windows barely 10 sqm. When I came to reception, they were calling receptionist from previous night and he said he "forgot" return me 40 USD.. When I said 60USD is still too much, they said I booked 2 nights.. I didnt.. They trying to cheat you from money and they do.. Stay away.. Also super anoying touk touk drivers in front of the hotel..

On arrival reception staff very friendly, payment up front, no receipt. Shown to room on 4th floor and immediately accosted with foul cigarette stink in room. Housekeeping was called with air freshener and told although a non smoking room the Chinese previous occupant was a heavy smoker. A sign in corridor said no smoking but a balcony outside our room catered to smokers with ashtrays supplied. Another contradiction was an ashtray outside the elevator. Ideally situated in vibrant bar and restaurant area close to river and 2 convenience stores nearby. Tea/coffee facility in room but coffee was 3 in 1 packet with sugar and powdered milk. Paid $30 per night as the $20 rooms gone. Pool and roof bar were not operating probably due to lack of staff as noticed other places had same problem. It was ok for a short term stay only. The coffee machine in lobby was not working so had to use nearby restaurant for early morning stater. Housekeeping was good and room clean.

Bad stay
They lied about free breakfast with room. Was told they would not give me any compensation by front desk. Totally unacceptable

Dont bother with this hotel, booked in because it had a six out of ten rating, dont know where the hell they got that. the rooms did NOT look like the pictures, the walls were dirty, the bathroom was grotty, the linen was ripped. The sky top restaurant and bar did not exist and the pool closed at 5 not 11 as the poster in the hotel described. When confronted the staff did not apologise but dismissed our concerns. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

Tldr: Great location, horrible experience, dirty rooms/ bathrooms, dirty flop flops offered for the shower and false advertising of their advertised Sky pool and bar. And the staff laughed at me when I was asked for clarification. Further details below. Our room was quite dirty; On the walls people's feet marks left on it and looks like they haven't been cleaned in a while. Dirty bathroom and was given dirty flop flops to use. Instead we purchased cleaning products to clean the floor for them. + And dirty floor mats Rooms smell musty and while we asked for a window and we got a window but it was to an inside corridor. Short sighted access card system that while it offers decent security I can't see how it works with multiple people and only one access card. And false advertising. Upon booking online on many websites it says there is a sky pool and bar. In the hotel it says it's open until 11am, even in the elevator. Online it shows photos of it at night. Very helpful staff. Meals were good. Even with the lively street that they are on, I slept well.

No frills budget hotel. Cheap but clean and friendly staff. Got a room with no windows which turned out to be a blessing because of all the noisy pubs nearby. There is a safe and small fridge inside the room. Breakfast was decent with omelet, toast, juice and tea or coffee. Many dining options and convenience stores nearby.
