Asia Hotel in Phnom Penh

Hotel is in a great location, just 100 to 150m from the Central Market. 
The room was clean and fairly large, but the there were some issues:
1. The instant water heater did not work. In the end they had to change my room, but it was a bit smaller and instead of a wall hung aircon came with a small casement / in the wall type of aircon. The ac was not powerful enough to cool the room. But as it was my last night, did not change room.
2. There are not much room amenities. Originally did not get any soap bar or toothbrush. They then gave bath gel. When I changed room they gave toothbrush and a bar of soap but no shampoo!. In any case there is no tissue paper box.
3. Toilet could be better, a bit old and dated. There are no blackout curtains and if you get a room facing the main room, you can hear some noise and light pollution from outside.

Upon check-in they said the room type I booked was not available, was placed in a pathetic room: toilet howled when flushed and occasionally afterwards, tv screen was not viewable, tub was cracked and unsafe, worst experience I've had in about 10 years as a customer, may be my last stay

Value for money, although a bit old
Looks like there's renovation going on
Hopefully it'll be better
May come again to check on it on my next trip
Minimalist breakfast, just bread or noodles
Location quite convenient to use public city transport and Airport Express Bus (AEB), very cheap~1500 Riel only
Can sit on air-con bus for sightseeing

Room and furnitures in the room old old. Bathroom is the worse, little water comes for showering. Smell cigarette round and in the elevator.
