The Sanctuary Residence, Siem Reap1 / 30

Siem Reap (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I recently stayed at The Sanctuary Residence with my full family during our trip to Siem Reap, and it was truly a wonderful and memorable experience. The hotel provided everything we needed for a perfect family holiday. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere that helped us relax after visiting the temples. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to assist...
I stayed at the Sanctuary Residence on a business trip to attend a conference that was being held at their property. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They offered a good variety of food. The room was spacious and comfortable. The best part was the rest areas on the property, which included an adult swing. This is a wonderful boutique hotel in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
The room was a good size. Pool was clean. Room was cleaned everyday. Very pro-active by leaving a shoe mat for you to take your shoes off as it is rainy season. Good location. Pool was great! It wasn’t too far from Pub Street and you don’t want to be too close to there. It’s very quiet
The staff is very attentive and the service is great. We had breakfast at the hotel and the food was delicious. The pool is clean and nice. We also got bathrobes and towels for the pool at the hotel. Because of the hot weather the water in the pool was comfortably warm. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We got all the hygienic essentials in the rooms. At the checkout we even got a farewell gift
Tucked away in a quiet lane way in Siem Reap lies the Sanctuary Residence Hotel. Close to main road into Siem Reap but far enough to maintain a quiet ambience. Great room with all mod cons, king double bed etc. Outdoor pool kept clean but warm water due to climate at this time. Bar offers happy hour after 4pm daily only on cocktails...😢...Tuk tuks base out front for transport to anywhere and everywhere...
Very friendly staff and very helpful, the room is very clean and cozy, the bed was very comfortable, has a lovely pool that is well maintained. Really enjoyed our stay and very well recommend to all travellers. You could also order food from the menu there, has a breakfast and lunch menu. Nonetheless the food are tasty

Excellent value for money but it best selling point is the staff, from the management, reception, house keeping and in particular the ladies that work in the restaurant and bar. I will definitely stay here again, which is most likely early next year 2027
Lovely hotel, good location to Angkor Wat! The swimming pool and outdoor seating is great! Indochine style and Alfresco eating area! The room is lovely decorated. I like the furnitures. Lovely two cats outside..
After a couple of weeks in Vietnam we did two nights at this hotel to see the temples and Siem Reap. We could not have wished for a better place to stay. Chilled French colonial vibe. Staff super friendly. Excellent English and quite a few spoke French as well. Supping a cold beer at the pool side bar after a day of sight seeing was a great way to cool down each afternoon. So happy to have found this...
Good location in a quiet street between the city centre and the temples. The room was clean and comfortable (great pillows!) and the little pool was nice. The staff were all helpful and friendly, food in the restaurant was good, breakfast had plenty of choice and they made us a lovely little breakfast box as we had to leave early on our last day. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
Friends say the environment is good
Amazing hotel. Lovely and peaceful with a great pool and lovely food at the restaurant. And the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. They even made us up a little breakfast box when we went to Angkor Wat at sunrise. It is a little further out of the main town, but very easy to get a Tuk Tuk into town when you need to, and it’s closer to Angkor Wat.

Friendly staff, good facilities with great swimming pool. My family, especially the kids enjoy this pool so much!!!
Clean and modern attentive staff free fruit everyday
Great Boutique hotel with nice room connected to swimming pool. 5 minutes out from Pup street surrounded with stores shopping and restaurants. My family and I fully enjoyed at Aroma Angkor Boutique hotel. Thanks for warming greetings and great service. Hopefully, will see next trip in Siemreap. Great day for your business 👍🙏
Location was near pub street. Hotel staff were friendly, accommodating, and professional. The room was big, comfortable, and clean. Up until I woke up and found 2 big cockroaches in the room. Also, it is next to a pool hall/bar so if you are a light sleeper and wanting to get a nap in during the day, good luck. My room balcony overlook the pool which is pretty cool. Didn’t use the pool but other guests...
Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Booked our tours and guide (chay) through them too. Very professional people. We also felt safe throughout our 2 days tour with the driver assigned to us (:

My room is perfect. The swimmingpool is great and the garden is beautiful.
Great place to stay in Siem Reap! Quiet and still easy walking distance to everything, old market, the restaurants along the river or the infamous pub street. The garden, court an swimming pool are an oasis, we ran in the Angkor half marathon, and spending some hours around the pool after the run was just the thing we needed. Hal, the owner, was helpful with organising everything, staff was incredibly...
This hotel is like " a home away from home" Friendly and helpful staff. Big clean rooms with fans, ac and in- room safes. The grounds and pool offer shade and ambience after a day out touring
We stayed here on an Intrepid trip. The bungalows in the garden are lovely. Service is swift and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean ... the shower enormous. This is a characterful stay rather than sumptious. Well worth it.
Highly recommended! My friend and I had recently visited Siem Reap and we stayed in this hotel. Our trip was entirely planned by Mr. Hak who is the owner of this hotel. Great service and everything went smooth. The room was clean and great hospitality by Mr. Hak and his team. Loved every bit of time spent in Siem Reap!
An idyllic retreat in the old Town that offers peace and serenity while being a stones throw from the action. Rooms are well appointed, spacious and clean. I love the balcony overlooking the garden and the pool is great too. Owner lives on site and has ensured that the property has remained well kept although it's been relatively quiet. Excellent value. Great place close to main area nice service and great location
Decent hotel, with a small pool and good breakfast. Street can be a bit noisy but overall all good.
Close to the airport bus stop and central parts of town. Kind and helpful host, great rooms and price and a cute cat and kittens to welcome you.
Family run hotel with resident kittens/cat. Beautiful ambience downstairs and my room was made up every day. Very clean. I found myself sitting in the lobby enjoying just sitting and cuddling the kitten. I loved my stay.

A very nice hotel with spacious and very clean rooms, each with a safe. The staff were incredibly attentive. The pool was lovely, with sun loungers and towels changed very regularly. Very clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful, kind and approachable. Would love to come back.
The environment is excellent; it's a very new hotel. The only downsides are the slow Wi-Fi and the less-than-ideal hairdryer. Overall, I recommend it; it's great value for money.
Very good experience! Nice people clean safe comfortable. and we would like to come here again. 2km from pub street
Very beautiful hotel, very well maintained. Awesome swimming pool, fast internet and great coffee too. They made many travel accommodations for us to tour the temples and the city. I would like to express my gratitude to the staff who helped me live a quiet and peaceful life. Akkuntzran.
The room wasn't very clean but it was ok for a one night stay. The breakfast was very good though and a nice location near to the botanical gardens .
The staff was very friendly and always answered the door. The pool, room, and interior were clean. Great value for the price, and the service was impeccable! I'll definitely be back next time :)
The hotel is wonderful, in the Kmerkh style. It is located near the road, that is, sitting on the edge of the pool you can see part of the street. Amazing mattresses and pillows, silence, thanks to all this we slept wonderfully at night. The room has everything you need, everything matches the photos and enthusiastic reviews. The hotel staff also makes every effort to help with any issue. It's a pity...

I stayed here as a solo traveler. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning could be adjusted in 0.5 degree increments, making it comfortable. The free Wi-Fi was also very helpful. The staff were all very polite, and I would definitely stay here again if I come to Siem Reap again.
A great place to rest after a day exploring the temples of Angkor and the surroundings! 🛕 Really kind hosts, always ready to help and give great tips! 💯"**
Great service with a smile here and a good location. Just a short walk (or Tuk Tuk) from everything you'd wanna see. Good neighborhood. The owners are great and helpful. Someone said the pool wasn't available, but it definitely is now.

Great location, not too busy. Lots of great dinning options nearby.
Fabulous stay, a relatively quiet street but nice and central. Lovely pool, my room was great, good air-conditioning, bathroom. Lovely plantings. They arranged pick up and drop off from the airport for a fee. Bar and restaurant not currently operating but so much nearby. Highly recommend Siam Cafe for incredible Khmer food, and Curry Wallah.
Great hotel a little away from the center of nightlife! Convenient location! On site there is a swimming pool and tables in the shade of trees! Friendly staff! Clean and inexpensive! We were in March 2025.
The room was very clean and the shower was nice and warm. The only drawback was that it was shared with the toilet, but other than that there were no other issues. You can also rent a motorbike at the reception, and check-out is until 12:00, so I had a very comfortable stay.

Visiting King Boutique Hotel in Siem Reap felt like finding a peaceful retreat that balances comfort and convenience. Located just a short walk from Angkor Night Market and Pub Street, it offered easy access to the city's vibrant attractions while providing a tranquil haven to relax.
An OK place to sleep for a night but not much more. Rooms are rather old and there isn’t even a fridge. Beds are comfortable and seem clean enough. The AC is working very slow. The location of this hotel is great. Walkable to the key places in Siem Reap with plenty of nice coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Wonderful hotel, hosts are very nice and helpful. Great swimming pool and room, both very clean. Comfortable bed, good homemade breakfast. Hotel is close to the city center, yet in a quiet location where you don't get disturbed by anything. Highly recommended.
Sam So Villa was a cozy clean place. The staff were very friendly and nice people. They were very attentive to the guests needs and was very hospitable.
