An incredible experience at the Angkor Rural Boutique Resort. Such warm hospitality from Sokun, Kunthy and Sophika made it feel more like a homestay with the space and amenities of a resort. If you're looking for a small resort experience that is set just outside the hustle and bustle of the city with beautiful rural sunset views, this is an excellent option. We booked the Green Rice Family Suite for our family of 4, which was perfect with ample space for us to spread out. The food was reasonably priced and very tasty. Sophika arranged a great tuktuk driver for us and was friendly throughout. Sokun, the owner, took the time to teach our children how to make bracelets out of soda pull tabs, which they loved. If you're looking for a large traditional resort, this is not the place. However, if you're looking for a small, personal, and memorable experience, look no further!

A perfect stay in Siem Reap area. A very comfortable, clean, welcoming mini-resort in a quite rural area for an original and traditional experience away from the crowds of Angkor.
The structure has anway a good position to visit both Angkor temples sites and the remote temple of Banteay Srei (do not miss it!).
Moreover they also offer a free shuttle to reach the city during evening, but it so pleasant to stay at the resort that you do not really need.
The breakfast - included - and the dinner menus offer a wide choice and the food is deliciuos, fresh and home made.
Since I've stayed 3 nigths I've also received a free dinner served on the rooftop at the third night!
The structure also offer you conveniently priced half or full day rides in tuktuk or remork to the temples. Rin, my driver, is also a good guide that give you hints about what and when visit the temples.

Wonderful friendly staff, nice food and beautiful surrounds.
Be careful going off the paths as there are cords in the grass near the ponds and they are very easy to trip on.
Pool is awesome! And the lounges, chairs and other furniture are plus size friendly.
Quick warning though, this is NOT somewhere you can boil the water a few times to make it safe, and if you get sick the nearest pharmacy is not easy to access. If in doubt take some tummy meds with you just in case.
Overall really loved my time here, but I wish I'd come at the start of the trip not the end.
