Sandman Hotel Cranbrook in Cranbrook

Do not go to this Dennys. I've eaten at plenty of them before. This one sloooooooow service, toasted bread so stale it cut the inside of my mouth. How do you give it no stars.

This used to be my favorite restaurant but last time I went the food was horrible! I heard that it changed ownership, if this is true, YOU SUCK! WHY WOULD YOU CHANGE THE FOOD?!?! of it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Terrible for celiacs, do not eat the gluten free pasta. They're happy to serve celiacs dishes that have zero flavour and aren't fully cooked. Service did not care about us until there was a complaint made. Over-priced.

Food was okay, kinda fresh. All staff was nice except for the caucasian waitress in her 60's was really rude. She would not smile and was rude to my one year old son. Not a place for kids.

After hearing lots of raves for this restaurant, I decided to go check out our with my woman and a friend. I cannot say that the service or the food quality was to my satisfaction.
The restaurant was not very busy and yet the server was not in the most pleasant of moods. It was almost as though we were a bother (please understand also that this feeling was also perceived by my companions).
The food had plenty of variety, but the buffet table definitely needed some attention. Many of the bins were close to empty and the food that was in was drowning in sauce or dreadfully dry.
The price was also quite elevated considering. My woman was craving a food item that was not in the buffet. It would not have been hard for the restaurant to throw on a little bit of an item they should normally serve to satisfy their customers... but that was not possible. That food item could only be served at lunch smorgasbord apparently. I had no other choice but to order it on the side at the full price, on top of the buffet price.
I am not likely to revisit this location as there are many other options for Asian cuisine in Cranbrook.
