Movie Star Hotel in Guangzhou

One subway stop away from Canton Tower.

The lobby is currently undergoing renovations, so the front desk has temporarily moved upstairs.

There's a shopping mall nearby with various food options like luosifen (river snail noodles) and bubble tea.

The room is very spacious, with a single-sided corridor. There's a window in the hallway that offers a glimpse of the Canton Tower.

The hotel's location is excellent, just one subway stop away from Canton Tower. The subway station is conveniently located right next to the hotel, making it super easy to get around. There are also plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with good facilities, including laundry and drying machines, which made drying clothes very convenient. The corridor outside the room was very open and airy, with a fantastic view of Canton Tower and the city skyline. The hotel staff were also very warm and friendly!

The only slight drawback was that the ground floor lobby was under renovation, which affected the aesthetics a bit and made entry/exit a little less convenient. However, this is a temporary situation and completely understandable and acceptable. My only other minor suggestion is that each room only provides six bottles of mineral water per day, which isn't quite enough for us, as we drink a lot of water. We had to buy extra water outside and bring it back to the hotel. Of course, this is understandable as a hotel management strategy to control costs and prevent waste. However, it does differ from many other hotels we've stayed at where bottled water is freely provided. While I understand the hotel's management approach, I feel that normal guest needs could be differentiated, especially since we're not being wasteful; it's simply a matter of individual habits and a slightly higher water intake. We're not trying to take advantage of the hotel or unwilling to buy water ourselves; I just think that a hotel offering this level of thoughtfulness and consideration would enhance the customer experience even further and lead to greater satisfaction. Of course, this is just my personal opinion and doesn't detract from my overall positive review of the hotel! All in all, the hotel is still excellent, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Guangzhou! 👍👍

The room was huge, I think we got a complimentary upgrade to a family suite. The cleaning staff were very thorough! The front desk service was excellent too. Since the first floor was under renovation, someone even escorted us to the sixth floor. All in all, everything was great (^^)! I highly recommend staying here.

Good location and clean environment

Great location, right next to the subway and a mall! The staff were also very polite! Definitely recommend to friends.

Every time I visit Guangzhou, I stay at Yingxing. Firstly, its location is excellent, very close to the subway station. Secondly, the surrounding commercial area is convenient, perfect for dining and shopping.

The hotel's location is super convenient, and the restaurant on the second floor has great food. There's a shopping mall and a subway station nearby. The service was excellent; both the front desk staff and the security guard were really welcoming.

The night view was incredible, and the subway made it easy to get anywhere. Plus, there were all sorts of delicious food options right downstairs! The price was really reasonable too, truly a hidden gem of a hotel! My kids and family were all very happy with this trip, and we're looking forward to coming back again.

The hotel is conveniently located near KECUN subway station, which is right above Liying Mall, making dining and shopping very accessible. While the hotel's exterior looks a bit dated, the rooms have been newly renovated and are quite nice – bright, spacious, well-appointed, and very clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly; they upgraded my room and promptly delivered any requested amenities. From the hotel corridor, you can even catch a glimpse of half of the Canton Tower.

The area have nearby shopping mall, supermarket, and food stall if you want to try authentic food. Night time have also some street food. Nearby convenience store open i think 24hrs.

In terms of transpo around the area, it is better to take the metro since it is a few minutes away from the hotel. Few stops to canton fair because it is the same line. Also good for canton tower since it is also few stops but different line station.
Hotel to airport can just use metro and it is directly to airport.

Good for light packing traveller with backpack or small luggage since having a big luggage is a con for me.

The price is considered cheap for me as their location is accessible to all.

The best for me are the reception staff and security guard. They are very helpful and hopitable and friendly as well. Can say 11/10 in terms of service and hospitality.

Place cleanliness is great as well.

Only down side for me is the wifi. Difficult to connect if you do not have china mobile number. But they can still help.

No time for me to use other amenities.

I highly recommend the place if you are going to canton fair. Taxi is not that great for me. Overcharging and the traffic is bad. Best is taking the metro.
