Guangdong Yingbin Hotel in Guangzhou

This classic hotel truly lives up to its reputation. On our last day, we had dim sum at the Kapok Restaurant. The service was great, and the dim sum was delicious.

This is an old-school, state-run guesthouse in Guangzhou, and you can tell by the row of Coaster buses downstairs that it's a place with some history and prestige. Its location, facilities, and hardware are all top-notch. Being close to both the provincial and municipal governments, and right next to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street's commercial area, it's incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and tidy, with beautiful green gardens and scenery.

The Guangdong Guest House boasts an excellent location and rich cultural heritage. The hotel environment is lovely, especially the stunning banyan tree that forms a 'one-tree forest'. The service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Fantastic! The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. The staff were professional, polite, and well-trained. We booked a package that included buffet dinner and breakfast, which was excellent value for money. The buffet dinner offered a wide variety of dishes, including seafood, oysters, sashimi, salmon, and local Guangzhou specialties – truly abundant and well worth the price given the hotel's caliber. The restaurant staff were also very attentive and provided excellent service. The main courtyard of the Guangzhou Guest House is beautiful and offers a peaceful retreat amidst the city's hustle and bustle; even our ride-share driver thought it was a scenic spot. All in all, Guangzhou Guest House provided a wonderful start to our trip to Guangzhou, and we would definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

The hotel has a garden-like setting, offering a park-like experience right outside. The front desk service was excellent; they were very considerate of guests, quickly resolving issues with a satisfying attitude. I tried both the Kapok restaurant and the buffet, and the quality was consistently good. Overall, I recommend it.

I booked a Lingnan Executive King Room, and the hotel upgraded me to a super-spacious suite. For my son's birthday, the hotel even decorated the room specially. The service was excellent, and they gave my baby lots of little gifts—so thoughtful! Xiao Chen from the hotel's room reservations department was very helpful, answering all my questions and even recommending great places to eat and visit. So considerate, fantastic! I'll definitely choose the Guest House again next time!!!

Excellent! The staff were incredibly helpful, even assisting me with sending a SF Express package. The hotel's location is fantastic, within walking distance to several attractions, which was very convenient. The environment is also great, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. I'll definitely be staying here again!

I've stayed here many times, and this visit felt particularly great. The environment is excellent, and the service staff, from the moment you walk in to the front desk, make you feel right at home. They even upgraded my room today. This morning, at breakfast, the airline informed me that my evening flight was canceled due to bad weather and heavy rain. I immediately contacted Trip.com to see if I could negotiate a refund for today's room and catch an earlier flight back to Beijing before the midday rain. The entire process of checking out and getting a refund took less than a minute, which really speaks volumes about the hotel's outstanding credibility. When I checked out, the front desk even apologized for the bad weather and gave me a gift. I was very touched. This hotel will definitely be my top choice for future visits to Guangzhou.

The facilities and bedding aren't top-notch, but Yingbinguan has its own charm. As soon as I arrived at the front desk, the lady's gentle smile made me feel so welcome, like a breath of fresh air. The ceramic cups, which are a rare sight now, brought back memories of my student days. I was pleasantly surprised to find hair ties and clips in the elevator lobby on my floor, which was a super thoughtful touch! You absolutely must try the Sachima at breakfast – it melts in your mouth, full of eggy goodness. There's also ice cream and a variety of drinks. The hotel garden was also stunning; I even saw peacocks! The location is excellent, and parking is convenient. I'll definitely be back to stay again!👍

Super satisfied!! I usually prefer W and Ritz, but for the Canton Fair, both were over 3000+, which was really out of my budget! I stumbled upon Guangdong Yingbin Hotel and thought I'd give it a try. To my surprise, it turned out to be a hidden gem!

**Environment:** It feels like a small park inside, with lots of huge banyan trees! Seriously, those gigantic ones that are almost 200 years old! The greenery is very pleasant; a walk there is incredibly refreshing. There are even two peacocks (unfortunately, I didn't have time for a morning stroll, so I only have evening photos).

**Facilities:** I booked an Executive Room in Bihai Tower. The room was enormous, with a huge balcony. Some decor details were a bit rough, but the shower had great hot water and was very comfortable, the bed was super comfy, and the AC was more than adequate. What more could I ask for?

**Service:** To be honest, no one helped with luggage, but the front desk was very enthusiastic, and the breakfast restaurant staff were also very welcoming. There were even complimentary welcome fruits in the room.

**Hygiene:** I thought it was pretty good!

**Breakfast:** They have dim sum! While not super refined, the taste was decent! Especially the steamed spare ribs with black bean sauce – delicious!

**Note:** Guests in Baiyun Tower can go straight downstairs for breakfast, but those in Bihai Tower need to walk to Baiyun Tower. If you don't want to walk much, I'd recommend booking in Baiyun (it's not a far walk though).
