Nice location with shopping mall just close by with plenty of places to eat. The subway station is also within walking distance.

We reach the hotel at 10.30pm and was attended by a polite male staff( taller guy) at the receptionist counter. Very bare bones hotel with no amenities but toiletries are provided. Excellent location near a metro station and a mall, as well as walking distance to many famous pedestrian streets of old guangzhou. Room was quite small but the bathroom was very spacious and had additional room for storage.

Hotel is too old, room is kind of sting like been vacant for quite some time. Railway gate is nearby but without signboard

Baowan Hotel is very simple and simply managed like a family business. There is no use of uniforms that show a sign or identity of an integrated task force. Everything else was fine, but the water pressure was a bit low.

The sewer smelled terrible, and the kettle was rusty. I barely managed to stay one night. It's nothing like a five-star hotel; consider it a guesthouse. There were quite a few foreigners there. ^/

I stay here every month when I travel for work. It's incredibly clean and comfortable, with spacious and cozy rooms. I love it so much I've lost count of how many times I've stayed here. This is my favorite hotel in Guangzhou, and the one I always stay at. It's great value for money, has a delicious breakfast, and a beautiful environment.

Many foreigners stay here, so the furnishings are rather messy. The soundproofing is poor, but it's okay for one night if you just need a place to stay.

Because this hotel has free parking to book, up to the room like a guesthouse, soundproofing is not so good, at night the waiter is quite good, help us ask the laundry service and a special person to come to pick up

It caters to a lot of foreigners, and the hygiene isn't very good. There were cockroaches, and the smell was quite strong. Especially for those with young children, I wouldn't recommend staying here. I slept there one night and felt itchy all over and developed rashes on my face.

I stayed in this hotel some time ago because of [travel reasons], and the overall experience was mediocre. The location is OK, there are convenience stores and restaurants around, and it is convenient to travel. But the staff is cold and not very enthusiastic to communicate. The room is clean, but the facilities are a bit old, and the electrical appliances look like they have been used for a long time...

I am satisfied with the hotel I booked in Guangzhou. It is conveniently located near Rainbow Bridge Metro Station and Liuhua Lake Park. I stayed in a newly renovated room, which was clean and tidy, and the service was good.

My 3 beds room had good size single beds. However, the room had this weird smell all 4 days. Windows can't let in fresh air. The tiles on the floor some of them are broken. The shower was broken as well and the bathroom door leaked water into the room. Price we affordable 👌🏻. Give It a 3/5 because of price.

We stayed here 2 night . The hotel feels like 5 star . It is very desolate and clean . The behaviours of all the staffs are friendly. I were really pleased to have book this hotel .

6 nights early 2025, chinese new year = 166€ on Agoda website. Good location, walking distance from metro, near have minimarket, some food, coffee etc. Comfy bed, big shower (very important for me).

Police station verification is must if you come here alone. Good room service, good air conditioner but there are some stain in the walls of that room, otherwise everything was good and prime location for metro travel

The Hotel is named as City Inn also. The rooms were nice though the reception area was full of Odor and bad smells. Also, some of the stuffs were very casual. 200-300 meters away from metro station C2 Exit.

The experience of staying in this room was not very pleasant. Having the sink right next to the bed made personal hygiene tasks quite uncomfortable. However, compared to other Backpacker's 10-Year hostels in other cities, the number of showers, washing machines, and dryers in the bathrooms is significantly fewer, with only one or two available, often leading to queues.

I came here for a job, looking for a place with good value for money, and it was indeed a good deal. Very close to the subway, just a few minutes walk. The hostel is surrounded by hardware processing shops. They have lockers for luggage on the first floor, which is a great plus! There are many foreigners, and the common area is very noisy. It would be great if there was some kind of zoning.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and I have to say I'm quite impressed. They provide towels and slippers, and even shampoo and body wash. The environment is very clean and quiet. You need a room card to enter and exit, and there are also washing machines, dryers, and hair dryers, which is really convenient. The only downside is that the mattress wasn't quite right for me.
