Title: Great value for space and location, but sadly aging and under-serviced

My family spent two nights at the Country Garden Silver Beach Phoenix Hotel in Huidong. For the room size and the location right by the sea, it was genuinely a great deal. You can really see the potential here – but like many other reviews mention, the property is clearly aging.

Where it falls short is the service, which feels lacking. The breakfast, in particular, was expensive for what was offered, especially for foreign travellers. The selection was limited, and the only thing we truly enjoyed were the noodles. The beach itself could be beautiful, but it desperately needs cleaning. It’s also heartbreaking to see so many surrounding businesses shut down – the area felt desolate and sad.

On a positive note, Lima House on the ground floor was absolutely amazing. Great food and great entertainment – a real highlight of our stay.

我们一家人在惠州惠东碧桂园十里银滩凤凰酒店住了两晚。客观来说，房间的面积和靠海的地理位置非常对得起这个价格，性价比很高。这里其实很有潜力，但正如其他客人所说，酒店确实老化了。

不足之处在于服务跟不上。早餐对外国游客来说价格偏贵，可供选择的种类却不多，唯一觉得好吃的就是面条。沙滩本来可以很美，但如果能再干净一些就好了。更可惜的是，周边很多店铺都关门了，整个区域看起来很萧条，让人有点难过。

不过，一楼的 Lima House 非常棒，娱乐氛围好，食物也很美味，是我们此行的一大亮点。

The environment here is great, with the beach right downstairs. You can also ride electric bikes and bicycles for sightseeing. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The only downside is that there's no sofa or chair in the hotel lobby for guests to rest. I'd definitely come back given the chance. Highly recommended!

Even my pickiest family members were impressed with this stay! It was such a pleasant surprise. The surroundings are beautiful, directly facing the ocean, and opening the balcony door reveals a stunning sea view. The room's cleanliness was excellent, and the toiletries were high quality. The front desk staff were so gentle and thoughtful, helping us meticulously plan our local excursions and recommending authentic local restaurants. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right on a fine sandy beach, perfect for leisurely strolls and watching the sunset. It's truly relaxing and a great escape from the hustle and bustle.

Excellent! The room was very spacious and, while not brand new, it was impeccably clean and offered great value for money. The location is absolutely fantastic, with direct views of the entire beach. It's much less crowded than Shanwei, and the facilities are all very complete. I'd definitely go back again!

This hotel at Shili Yintan offers good value for money considering its location and price. First off, they're well-equipped to host international guests, so the breakfast is quite good. The rooms are spacious enough, featuring a sunken living room and an outdoor terrace with endless sea views – absolutely perfect for a relaxing vacation.

The beach is right downstairs, and there's a beautiful green promenade. Parking is also free, with both indoor and outdoor options, which is very convenient.

The main drawback is that it's an older hotel, quite dated with worn-out facilities. The air conditioner fan is incredibly loud, to the point of being disruptive to sleep. Being right by the sea, it's also incredibly humid, and the bedding felt damp, which was hard to get used to initially.

During my stay, the weather was cooler, so there was no need for AC unless for dehumidification. The hotel doesn't seem to provide cold air either. However, the front desk offered a dehumidifier, which was very nice! It was a lifesaver, and the last two days were incredibly comfortable!

Despite the issues, I'm still giving it a good rating. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable experience.

When checking in, Miss Xue at the front desk was very friendly, and her smile was infectious. She was highly efficient, quickly processed my check-in, and even thoughtfully reminded me about the weather. This kind of meticulous care made me feel welcome and warm right from the moment I arrived.

Upon entering the room, my first impression was "spacious." The room was much larger than I expected, with a sensible layout that allowed me to move around freely. There was ample space to unpack luggage, and the work desk and lounge sofa areas were clearly separated, avoiding any cramped feeling. Even more surprising was the balcony—a very expansive 270-degree space with a small table and chairs, and a lounge chair. It was perfect for drinking tea, chatting, enjoying the sea breeze, and admiring the ocean night view, adding a lot of relaxation to the trip.

This was a very pleasant stay. The spacious room and oversized balcony provided comfort, the excellent hygiene ensured health and peace of mind, and Miss Xue's professional yet warm service at the front desk added a human touch to the accommodation. If I return to Xiaojing Bay in the future, I will still choose this hotel and will recommend it to my friends.
